Love Shakira.. she's my favorite Latin female artist. I don't understand Spanish either, but the emotion in her voice, seeing her sons singing with her.. the visuals in the video of packing up boxes and the look of an empty house.. you really don't need to understand the Spanish words.. you just need to Feel them. As a mother of 2 sons myself, this song makes me tear up every time I listen to it. Reactions suggestion: It's been a while since you reacted to Carlos Rivera (my favorite male Latin artist). There is a duet he sings live with Spanish singer, Inda Martinez, the song is called, "A tu Vera". I love this song.. it's beautiful, yet strong and powerful. This video was taped just a few days before she and her kids left their house in Barcelona to start a new life in Miami. That’s their old house, those are their boxes full of their things and that’s their piano. The Piano was one of the last things taken from the house as they needed it to record this beautiful video. Through out the video you see the packing process and the rubber ducks represent the three of them in the water and the larger one , outside of the water represents her ex.

Yes. And not only that, the big duck is in the dark, obscure. At first the three ducks, notice how 1 of the small ones is flipped? I believe that means how hurt one of them was, based on age and maturity probably Milan. The basketball lights off at the end, priceless because that's a game they always played as a family. I'm so upset that I never paid attention to previous songs. 'Don't Wait Up" says it clearly how some space hopefully would fix them. Someone was asking for space, we know what that usually means.

Lyrics in Spanish are so much more deep, the translation doesn't make justice to it. It happens in every song, I think, when you translate them. This song is so pure and so sweet, hits your emotions so bad, you can feel identified even if you have no kids. Powerful ballad she gave us, about unconditional love. That's why she is a queen!!! ❤

Andy, This video was shot the day before they left Barcelona. You can find the basketball ball in this video in Shakira's video of "Me enamore" alluding to happier days. There is a drawing of four mice on the wall which is a reference to a picture of the four of them wearing mice ears. Finally the boxes in the background suggesting the end of a chapter in their lives and the start of a new one. The translation is a little bit off. "All i want is your happiness and to be with you, your smile is my weakness, loving you serves as the anesthesia for pain, makes me feel better. " Simply a beautiful love letter from a mother to her kids as they start a new life.

Cómo madre de 2 hijas está canción me llega hasta el alma. Me meta siempre fue crear 2 mujeres fuertes y autosuficientes. Nunca quise que vieren mi debilidad pero creó qué es necesario para qué entiendan que uno es humano y la vida no es perfecta y está bien cometer errores lo importante es aprender dé ellos, levantarte, y seguir adelante. Me encantó tu reacción a "Acróstico", porque sin ser una experta en canto como vos, percibí lo mismo al escuchar a Sasha y Milan, lo bien que cantan para la edad que tienen, lo natural que fluye su voz.
