I'm so glad you're appreciating the vocals cause believe it or not, this group is a group of rappers, they only have 2 main vocalists out of 8 of them. One of the reason they're really cool is how the same member can switch between rapping and singing in the same song, they're insane. There's also quite a bit of tracks where their main rapper is the one hitting the high notes

Two of members are actually Australian, he’s the one “belting” at the end, he’s the leader and the other one who’s singing “Maniac” in the first chorus is also. Stray Kids are really fucking cool, please check out their “Oddinary” album. Maniac is the title track of it, please listen to the other songs!!!😏😏

you hit the nail on the head! a couple of the reasons I love Stray Kids so much is because each member has a different sound and they're one of the groups with the most EVEN line distribution. so it's not the same person dominating all their songs :)

Im not that deep fan of stray kids I just listen to them time to time..but belive me they slay everytime..and the fact that they sing live most of the time even the fact that their chreographys are crazy hard..respect them

Seeing you reacting to Stray Kids just made my Stay-heart so happy lol. I understand that no promises have been made, but I'm really stoked to watch you go on the SKZ journey - they have a ridiculously WIDE and extensive range of vocals/genres to enjoy. Their always experimenting with sounds, etc, and have quite literally created a niche/genre of their own. I'm sure you'll find many gems to appreciate through their discographies. They write and produce their own music, primarily within themselves (3racha), with some help from their production team. 3racha is credited on every track since (before) debut. There are also no diffinitive positions within the team: they ALL rap and sing, and are given opportunities to display both areas in many songs. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do. I know I likely sound just like another, gushing fan.. but they really are just 'THAT' good. Their 'THAT' involved throughout the creative process, and 'THAT' talented. Sure, there are many artists out there that have stronger vabratos, or higher vocal ranges, etc... but SKZ really does just do it all and they do it WELL. Have fun! 😊

You should definitely check out their new song and mv VENOM along with the rest of the ODDINARY album. Lonely St. also just got a music video which is part of the ODDINARY comeback. The persons voice you kept mentioning is Bangchan, he’s the leader of Stray Kids and he produces the groups songs along with Changbin (the emo boy as you said) and Han ( the supposed cat killer). If you’re looking for a new k-pop group to stan, Stray Kids is an awesome choice. All the members have great vocals and they just keep getting better each comeback. STAN STRAY KIDS.

the highnote which got u at the end was Chan.. he is the leader, rapper and lead vocalist in the group also the distribution of the song lyrics among the 8 members is so clean and perfect. eveyone has almost the equal amount of lines which makes it a perfect candidate for new fans as all of them got to shine. thats why we adore chan.

OMG AS A STAY, I'M SO HAPPY RN 😭😭

I've got so much respect for this group's authenticity and artistry so let me just info dump about them real quick: Their leader, chan (or Chris/Christopher), picked all the members and has been producing all their music since debut with two other members. their song credits always include the same three producer/writers of the group and they call themselves '3racha', with one or two other producers also credited in their songs mostly in charge of arrangements (other members also take a hand in writing the song occasionally) But essentially, everything you hear is made by them, there is quite literally not a single song that isn't written/produced by them in their discography except for songs that are collabs with other artists. Their control over their own music is so crazy, that they even put out music videos OUTSIDE of albums as side projects that aren't even being promoted. They're just insane, I'm so glad these guys are getting the recognition they deserve

This is an older video, but it’s the first time I’ve heard someone really talking about the unique and surprising combo of sounds Stray Kids uses. I think that’s one of their most standout attributes, and makes their music so dang fun to listen to, especially the first time. It’s like the definition of ‘never let them know your next move’ 😂 Every time I hear one of their songs for the first time, like EVERY time, I’m always pleasantly surprised and hooked on the sound and beat combinations they use. It’s so unique that sometimes it takes a few passes to sort of settle into and properly appreciate. A lot of music uses a somewhat predictable formula ofc and obv that’s fine, I mean it works! There’s tons of great songs out there that don’t stray too far from a formula, and I feel like Stray Kids deliberately challenge that. Like they go ‘I think they’d expect this song to go right, so instead of right or left, let’s go vertical and do a loopdy loop’ 🤣 and it is extremely intriguing and inspiring to hear! also much love for my fave Bangchan, the blue haired dude from the beginning and the one doing a lot of the background vocals you liked!🤘He and fellow members Han (cat hat LOL) and Changbin (emo green hair streaks) write and compose a majority of their own music, and they do a hell of a job 😆

I have noticed that Stray Kids has brought a lot of different people into the K-pop world with their 'noise' music. I have been a K-pop stan for years and this is the only group my fiancé will go out of his way to listen to and believe me I have tried to get him into other groups. But his boy is Changbin and he is a die hard Stay now.

Stray Kids are actually self produced! Some of the beats you hear, the lyrics, even some of the arranging is done by them. They have an in group “subunit” called 3racha which consists of the members Bangchan, Han and Changbin. I 10/10 recommend more of their music - Gods Menu, Thunderous, and Back Door. As well as their BSIDES on this album, ODDINARY They also have 3 first takes! SLUMP, scars, and mixtape oh. Also don’t feel pressured to do any video - we understand you’re probably busy as hell.

the cool thing about stray kids is not only thay they have a producing unit within their group ( 3racha aka Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), they compose, write & arrange every single one of their songs. There are also no fixed positions in stray kids anymore, they all sing and rap so they have the chance to play around with that in every single song so you never really know when they sing or rap (ofc you have members who sing more or rap more but they all take parts in the opposite aswell)

This video is 100% responsible for turning me into a die-hard STAY! After hearing Maniac here, I took a deep dive into their music and there are so many awesome songs. I'd love to see your take on some of their other songs. Maybe Gods Menu, Red Lights and Muddy Waters for a few different styles to react to. Each are fantastic songs in their own right but when you look at them together, you realise just how versatile the Stray Kids can actually be.

Some other really good stray kids songs are Slump, All in, Gods Menu, Back door, Thunderous, Sorry I Love you, Lonely st, Miroh, and a whole lot more but those are some personal favorites 😋

Stray Kids are so impressive. They self-produce and each member is so versatile. If you want a live performance their performance of God's Dududu on Kingdom is so impressive. They cover a range of genres really, if you want a more distinct vocals song Red Lights is good- it's two of the members Bang Chan (leader) and Hyunjin and a completely different style. But everything you check out will be high quality. They don't have too many live performances I think because it's been covid for like half of the time they've been a band. But interesting compositions is a talent of 3racha (the producing unit of Stray Kids- Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) and I higly recommend diving right in. They've released like 4 music videos in the last two weeks- Maniac, Venom, Lonely Street, Freeze. So excited to see you checking them out.

I highly suggest there b-sides they all have different genres and showcase each members strong points. Especially the unit songs, one is done by the vocal line (Waiting For Us) and the other is done by the rap line (Muddy Water). i love watching you so how did I miss you reacting to my favorite k-pop group

oh you're in for a treat if you decide to delve into stray kids, who as a group can only be described as a vocal coach's dream tbh. they very recently did a live performance of maniac on a radio show called kiss the radio - no dancing, just singing and rapping - which i'd recommend before anything else, but if you do decide to check them out further i would highly highly recommend NOT to react to the first take Slump video, as it is extremely autotuned. however the other songs they've done for first take - mixtape oh and scars - are much much better if you wanna hear their actual voices and not their heavily autotuned robot voices, your choice though. also the person doing the high notes at the end (i would personally call it a head mix for sure) was the blue-haired member in the beginning of the video, bang chan. sick voice with frankly excellent technique, definitely keep an eye out for him.

If you wanna see some of their live performances I recommend you to watch the first take ones. Usually they sing while they are dancing( it is also unbeliavably good) but in those ones they sing in front of a mic so their voices are more clean.

This same group did a ballad rock song called "waiting for us" with only the vocal lines singing in it (4 members). Can you please react to it because I think the vocals there are sooo good

Stray kids are very diverse so they have a lot of songs that showcase there vocals, not necessarily ballads but they are very vocal heavy songs

The first take ones by stray kids are soooo good... my favourite is slump but the other ones are really good too honestly and for maniac... they also had some live performances without the dancing and stuff that you'd really enjoy... and btw... they are a very hypy like group so they always support their members while performing and that's honestly one of the best things to see in all these kpop groups
