I went to see them in Newcastle and I had such a blast. They did most of the hits as well as some of the lesser known tracks. It was such a celebration - the girls took a moment to say how much they appreciated and respected all six sugababes, which was so lovely, and the chemistry and harmonies from the original three were just insanely good. Individually their vocals are incredible - I had no idea Keisha could belt the way she did and I was blown away track after track. They also sing with a live band which really makes the songs sound fresh and exciting. Honestly, if you have the chance to see them live - you need to go!

Gosh I love Keishas voice so much. For me she will always be the best singer out of the 6 girls. And i admire 3 things about her 1. Her vocals improved during the years 2. She never ever missed a single live performance as Sugababes, co-wrote most tracks during the 6 albums (7 now with the Lost Tapes) and was always hitting the notes 3. She does not age 😭 and i am jealous
Love the girls together. Their chemistry is rare and I'm so excited. Their new album is incredible. Siobhan is my favorite for a personal reason... Her solo album 'Ghosts' was very important to me when I was having a very difficult time. And that album is amazing.
Loool I think she meant not all do them were apart because I was also gonna comment that Keisha was very much apart of 2007’s About you now by the sugababes.
Keisha is doing the high harmony on "train comes....destination" which then becomes the middle harmony on "it's a one way ticket...." since Siobhan's melody is now on top :)

It’s never surprised me picking Heidi and Amelie tones in both Siobhan and Mutya….the later were just substitute ingredients. That’s not shade, it’s just I prefer homemade meals over fast food. This line up will always be the tastiest.
I went to see them in Edinburgh last November. Wanted to see this original line-up since day one. One of the most amazing live shows ever- no dancers, no flashing lights, no theatrics. Just pure talent.
For me, the best Sugababes line-up forever would be Keisha, Mutya and Heidi. No disrespect to any of the ladies, who participated in Sugababes' history throughout the years, but there was something just magical to them. Sure- Siobhan is amazing and the earlier Suhababes' stuff wouldn't have sounded the way they do/did had it not been for all 3 original ladies. As for my fave line-up: most of the hits were from that ear and, Heidi- as much as she's been dubbed a "studio angel and live devil", she had this lovely tone, that elevated them. Each era was okay and it's to each their own, but I do wish we'd acknowledge everyone who was in the group
Saw them in Sydney a couple of weeks ago. These three can sing and their runs and harmonies together are just bliss, and have gotten way better with age... Been a fan since Overload and Run for cover were released down under many moons back and was also partial to Heidi after Siobhan left because of the bops they released, though always thought her voice was a bit mediocre and sounded like a Lullaby singer off a kids cassette tape growing up. Though I do understand why people reminisce about her...I'm definitely happy that this line up is getting their time to shine because boy they deserve it. 🎶
Seeing them here in February in Australia and can’t wait to hear them do Run For Cover from that debut album. Last time I watched them live og lineup was on top of the pops
Ohh glad you’re reacting to this recent performance! They all sounded great especially Mutya when she sang Amelle’s verse on About you now. I wish Heidi and Amelle were apart of the group and they squashed any issues Original line up were able to do and think business ! A sugababes 5 piece super group would go crazyyy alas I’m still seeing them again later on in the year at the O2 though. Jade is best as a solo artist with her big voice imo.

Love that their performing all the songs.. Heidi a big miss when I see them, pity their not a 4 piece. But there is a similar tone and quality with Siobhan and Heidi's voice. The girls did brilliant loved this..

Totally agree! Annoying how Heidi/ Cheryl are always the focus point of each girl band too when it’s Mutya/ Keisha (and Siobhan) and Nadine (Girls Aloud) who were the real talent and carried the group/s.
Nah Heidi is way above Cheryl. Heidi wasn't amazing live but never had many bad performances like Cheryl (Need you Now, Call My Name, Love Made me Do It and Idk how many more). And also Heidi co-wrote a bunch of Sugababes songs and for example was the inspiration for tracks like Stronger. The song is about her. What did Cheryl contribute during GA, except from a famous husband and press coverage? Exactly: nothing One thing I like about the 6 Sugababes: they all can sing. GA had Cheryl and the Saturdays managed even to have 2 girls who can't sing for sh*t.
I think Heidi was a lot better than Cheryl in a lot of ways, but then Cheryl had attributes she brought to Girls Aloud that Heidi doesn't have. They are quite different. Heidi was a better live singer than Cheryl ever was. The only real dud singer live in Sugababes was Mutya's replacement, Cheryl was at least better than her.
@@Right_Direction_ Amelle was a good singer, she sounds good in songs recorded for her. And Mutya has a so unique voice, you just can't replace her like that.
People are very fickle claiming the originals are better, yet, Sugababes 2.0 had the commercial success and the hits lol. The original line up and the Amelle/Heidi/Keisha were BOTH talented. Heidi and Amelle co wrote a lot of the Sugababes big hits, so they played an important part in the legacy.
Siobhan has always been my favourite as the tone of her voice is so lovely (please stop comparing her to Heidi … ;). Love all the original three, their voices compliment each other so well, and the music they release has more edge than the other line ups (One Touch, Lost Tapes and Siobhan’s solo work!). About you now is just a boring basic pop song (not sorry!).
It’s always gonna be comparison city as there have been so many line up changes. Amele was better on About you now, red dress, denial. Heidi? Well let’s just say she is sound they will always be missing. It’s an unusual scenario for these girls. I do wish then well but most will agree line up 2 and 3 were the backbone. If it were 1 or 6 you wouldn’t be reviewing them as they wouldn’t have the catalogue, material to supper a comeback. But what ever-all members had special components.
Overload was great per usual. But AYN was just ok. It did miss the "sass". Amelle gave so much more energy and clarity to it. Mutya sounds asleep at the wheel. However, Siobhan blew the chorus harmony out of the water! Would love to hear her do the middle 8 soon.
For all the Heidi and Amelle stans complaning about the SB 1.0 lineup just be patient and wait for Siobhan to be kicked out of the band again by Keisha and Mutya to quit again so Heidi and Amelle can return. History always repeat itself with this group lol. Personally I prefer SB 2.0 so I can't wait to have Heidi's sexy+sultry voice back
Oh whatever. She's been back with them since 2013, so keep wishing for her to leave. Nothing is stopping Heidi and trash Amelle from reforming and doing shows, but they know nobody is gonna go to them.
Controversial opinion, I don’t think Siobhan is that much a better singer than Heidi is. There is obvious moments (the Stronger bridge end note) but overall, they’re pretty similar.
Siobhan maybe more creative, she knows how to stick to her strengths, but some parts of the song need strong emotion to express, like Heidi's voice. Siobhan‘s voice sounds ethereal, but also heartless. Mutya and Keisha inherit this feature more or less.
I am unsure. I think you're giving them too much credit. They all seem slightly nervous more so Siobhan. I never liked Siobhan's voice I felt like it always sounds childish and shaky even in her studio versions. I prefer Heidi for sure.

I'm sorry but I didn't like them singing about you now it didn't have the same magic as when Heidi and amelle sang it and I think the girls struggled with vocals here from touring alot

There was a lot of drama regarding Keisha’s replacement, and Heidi siding with management and Amelle. Heidi is also a much weaker vocalist than MKS, especially live, so I’m not sure it would work. MKS have some of the best three part harmonies in music.
