It's like saying country music is from Europe because white peoples ancestors are from Europe. Geographically, we're on the same side of the globe, so how does that translate as far as influence because all the slaves were stripped of their culture. Slaves were taken from west Africa and distributed around the world, so it's a universal thing.🌎

No it's not. Jamaicans are as ethnically African as African Americans, and many of the other countries who received African slaves during the slave trade.
