Why this kolaveri di basically means why this misery. It is a heartbreak song, and if you pay attention closely you understand the story he is telling. Also, the u after nearly every word in the caption just enunciates his pronunciation - it is a funny way of adding the tamilian accent to the song which makes me love it even more. He wrote it in only 10 minutes or so and now its something that was a part of every indian millenials childhood.

In fact, They were having a get together in a studio, There was no lyrics as well as no intension to make a song. They just started and keep it going. and the best part of this song was that it was only a single take. Unbelievable! And number 1 most viewed song at that time.
