Yes! Daniel Caesar and V. I’m here for it. “Layover” is a masterpiece. His voice is so smooth and soulful. Wasn’t going for a “pop” sound, but for a more tranquil and relaxed vibe. 100% OK with me. I hope there are more people like me who are tired of the usual pop songs and would like more jazz and R&B. V is definitely the one to deliver. His live performances are amazing!

There are a lot of live performances of this as well as the other songs from his album; he even did an NPR Tiny Desk the other day. He went up into his head voice on other tracks of the album.

That is the thing about Taehyung, he is the man who can be described as intent on walking to the beat of his own drum. A very eccentric, eclectic, single minded personality- at least with regards to what he wants to do and his vision for his projects. Well everyone is talking about the tiny desk so I skip it😂💜 as you said he's following his own type of music and maybe by adding those adlibs and falsettos that you mentioned, we could no longer call it V's music and I just love this song the way it is, so smooth and relaxing also its music video is deeper than this, it's not just about some people going on picnic😅

Have you listened to the rest of his album, such as Blue and For Us? They're different vocally again, although they fit well into the overall style. The whole album is perfect for me, best I've heard in a long time.

All of his live performances were amazing. The ones I enjoyed the most were Tiny desk and when he was singing with IU. They were absolutely amazing together. Taehyung is just starting and I am here to enjoy every moment with him. He has such a beautiful unique voice. He always shows so much appreciation to anyone working with him also. Beautiful soul.

He sounds so intense in a live performance .. His song US has more falsetto . I personally like his tone in this track .. I think it’s very intentional . We all know he can ‘belt’ . In an interview his only regret was that this album didn’t really call for heavy choro but he would have loved it. We waited a year and a half and we ARMY love this album!! ❤

V is the most original and creative of all the BTS members....eventhough I love them all. His stuff is always a but different from the other guys. They all say he's different from the rest of them as well as being the most down to earth.

Esperabas algo más, esas notas altas o falsetos que comentas, sin embargo creo que esta canción como su título lo dice, iba a mantener ese tono neutro y constante en la canción. Creo que este álbum de Taehyung es justamente lo que quería mostrarnos y lo que quería realizar, algo lento, suave, sin demasiados arreglos vocales y es justamente la razón por la que lo disfruté mucho. Es como un momento de calma ante una vida demasiado ruidosa en todo sentido. Incluso pensé que sería mas lento el el álbum pero metió algo de pop en el. Por mi parte lo disfrute muchísimo, me encanta todo lo que hizo Taehyung en este álbum, por que entiendo que venía descansando de mucho caos y necesitaba paz (aunque haya tardado tan poco al realizar todos los mv' que haya quedado tan exausto). Hi Justin, check out his tiny desk concert in Korea,there he explained that he purposely made an album video with 'fleeting tranquility ' because he intends go into other genre next that is why the album is called layover. That is also why he didn't go for any dramatic promotion because he said he just wanted Army to enjoy the music which he likes.

I disagree with 'he could have thrown in a little falsetto, something little exciting'. I like it as it is, slow and chilled throughout so it is super easy to flow with. The instrumental part at the very end could the your falsetto 😉👍
