They’re everywhere in the Philippines man. They’re just playing around with the microphone when they’re waking up in the morning. I used to do that too when I was there but when I moved to the U.S. Austin Texas man my got expired but still I can hit female voices specially Celine Dion My heart will go on. Right now I’m entertaining old folks in the nursing homes. I sing in Auburge nursing homes me in cedar park austin Texas.
Believe me, no matter how difficult the life of Filipinos will be. they still manage to hangout and karaoke with friends & family. its like a dose of medicine. I myself sings but out of tune though 🤣
Let me tell you an exciting experience in singing, as a Filipino, I'll just discovered my head voice lately and I can do high notes with no problem at all
Justin, Filipinos (especially those fom the provinces) don't normally go to karaoke bars because that is just expensive for an average Filipino. it's either people own their karaoke machines or we can rent one for about $10 or so for 24 hours. notice that this group os having a drinking session (most likely in someone's home) and I'm sure they're using the karaoke machine for rent. trust me, it's more fun that way. if you wanna experience the authentic karaoke sessions like this, make sure you get invited in someone's home and i guarantee you it will be easy. all you have to do is let your subscribers know you're coming to the Philippines and you want a taste of the Philippine karaoke fun. you won't fail.
You will be so appreciated when you sing karaoke in the Philippines People will flock around you and you wit just have fun singing your hearts out. There's no judgement in the karaoke bar just applause and fun. Go for it! 🎉
This is really just a normal day in the Philippines most especially during weekends. You don't need to find a karaoke bar, you can find this everywhere in every home of the Filipinos because we love singing.
This is just one of the million scenarios in the Philippines- everywhere and becomes a very ordinary sight to behold among us Filipinos...it's no big deal seeing somebody singing this way.
We call this kind of activity as videoke. And it is sometime done just outside our homes. Just for fun while celebrating from birthdays to just simply drinking beer with friends. It is a form of bond between friends and relatives. Even on wakes, sometimes people do this. I would suggest you come to the Philippines and experience it. Happy to be your host.
You can't find anything like this in other countries only in the Philippines that ordinary random Filipinos singing in public as we Filipinos singing is our medicine to outburst stress and fill in our hearts with happiness.
He’s not exactly in a karaoke bar. I believe it’s just friends hanging out together. Almost everyone in the country have their personal karaoke at home.
I am a Filipina,, I can only say mostly of the filipinos sing really,, but... mostly,,, in the Visayan's part... my dialect is Tagalog,, but really I salute those people amazingly singing... all over the Philippines,, but especially the Visayans..❤ ❤ ❤ & Roland Bunot of course..
Singing is just a common thing in Philippines, just a past time that you can find anywhere, especially when there's an occasion ( birthday, wedding, fiesta and even ordinary day of weekend)
Lmao... almost everyone in my community sings like that haha... we all do too in our family 😂. We love to sing... a karaoke every party, reunion, get-together and events is actually a must 😂😂
If you wanna experience best karaoke party in the Philippines you have to visit a province and make a friends then gather and you'll see the karaoke will boom your day😂
They also have karaoke bars and restaurants with live bands to back you up. A chance to be a lead singer in a band and perform live in front of an audience. They are fearless with no stage fright.....even if they sound not so good.😆
Hahaha! If I could only go back for a vacation in the Philippines today, I would totally take you with me... I bet you'll be a lot of fun to watch searching every mall for some ordinary Filipino that decided "hey, let me sing a song" in some karaoke machine stores in Manila hahaha!
The guy was a Batang 90s... Before karaoke there was "minus one" sing along... that was in late 70s to 80s. My father used to sing along with his kumpares, kumares, relatives and workmates especially in get together, celebration or after work while having a drinking session. Because it was cassette tape you'll need to rewind and forward the tape to choose the favorite song sing. And there was no cue to had a good timing while singing, it is better to memories the song or look on the lyrics inside of the album because some them had lyrics on it and used typewriter to have a clear copy of lyrics. My father is in the era of 70s, he love to sing from engelbert humperdinck, frank Sinatra, Tom Jones and along of the singer in there era. He loves to listen with those artist while singing I believe he was practicing for drinking session. And there was only few around block who owned this sing along machine cassette tape. Not like today, in every home own a karaoke and it is easy learn singing naturally. along with the technology and influence of a singer.

Well, I’m hoping u get to watch some foreign vloggers in the Phil and see jst how much they’re enjoying it while making money at the same time so, that being said, I highly suggest that u come to the Phil and continue to vlog but that ur theme would be totally different from the rest. Hi sweet Justin, you know here in Philippines you can sing anywhere and fellow Filipinos don't care because they can sing also and very experienced in karaoke hahaha.its common ..an ordinary thing in Philippines after work, weekends,parties,etc .etc
And I'm proud to tell you Justin that Filipinos don't go to vocal lessons or trainings 🤣 having a great voice is given and Filipinos just vibes into music that's when we learn to sing. ✌
To be honest, it's not like 60% of the time where you will see a good singer on a karaoke / videoke. Just to give you proper expectation. I love myself some singing sessions on videoke, but I am not even good or okay. I just like it. Hahahaha! We love it very much.
We love to sing we sing not to empress we sing because we want it. For our heart thats why we dont know the exact way to sing like voice lesson haahah we dont have idea about that. When we see karaoke we sing wheather our voice good or bad. The important for us is we like to sing, hahahaha
