ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Geoff has such a ridiculous range, but the last note in that song is frankly insane. I also love his little moment after "A roly poly Sandy Claws to add a little spice."

There's theories that say that the longer Geoff's (the bass) hair is, the lower his voice gets, the same with Earl's (the highnote guy) beard but his voice gets higher. I agree with those theories

Now you need to check out oogie boogie song, boybands in 5 mins to see their dance moves, true colours if you want just stripped back harmonies, if your a Disney fan check out their aca top 10 Disney hero’s, sidekicks, villains is my fave and those I believe are live. Don't forget the Moana Medley! It's a great arrangement. Also, I know it's older, but A Crimpella. What a great arrangement to squeeze about 2 dozen songs into about 3 minutes.

Pretty kitty! And wow, I love watching people's first reaction to Geoff. I mean, he is all over sexy, voice, looks...not that the other guys are any slouches either! You may also want to check out their version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." WITH SUBTITLES ON! It's just very pure and beautiful and IMO very unique! Oh, and FYI, on Geoff's channel he also does a reading of "The Raven" which is the audio equivalent to sitting in a hot tub, being fed gourmet chocolates by someone you fancy, and sipping a lovely wine! He also has a lesson on there on how to sing low, too. Another video suggestion..."Progressive Christmas Carols" by Paint (which was made before "Progressive" was a major political party name), it is PURE PARODY and makes fun of the songs even, but his voice is EPIC and they're hilarious! Also, Adam Lambert. Singing Queen, or pretty much anything else! Glad you did this. I was amazed when they took a medley and created their own mini-movie. One of Geoff's solos this year was Jack's Lament from Nightmare Before Christmas and it is magnificent. Love to see your reaction/analysis of it.

My head is going to explode!! I'm watching this amazing a capella Queen thing, and there's your PANTERA video sitting there in my queue up next...wait. was that dude's heart?!?... I'm like playing Cemetary Gates in my head....dude hits high note a capella WOAH. Ok I'm staying right here...Phil Anselmo screams in my head....deep voice dude HA HA these guys are awesome...do ba dee somebody. do do da somebody....For real though, Pantera was one of the first bands I ever saw play, and I saw Queen w/Adam Lambert a few years ago. Both bands are legendary, and put on incredible sets I remember vividly to this day!

They are very different. True, they are both acapella, but it's like comparing two operas just because they both are operas. Pentatonix have the timing perfection. It's just glorious. VoicePlay have playfulness and characters.

@@Lazy1708 VoicePlay still has the timing perfection though. But yes, they are extremely different. Pentatonix goes for a smoother, more incorporated and more beautiful sound. VoicePlay (more like Geoff cause he does a lot of the arrangements) just kinda says screw it and does whatever the hell they want to.

@@xfrostyresonance8614 VoicePlay's timing is awesome, but Pentatonix's Daft punk is bordering inhumane. I'd say part of the difference is that Pentatonix are very self-conscious, while VoicePlay don't have any trouble with being giggled at. Kids in Oogie-Boogie song, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, You're a mean one - they make themselves comical and it's glorious.

It is so hard to recommend one. They are outstanding on ALL of their productions! Geoff (the bass) also has solo work - 16 Tons, Over the Misty Mountains Cold, and Monster Mash. But check out Voiceplay doing Hoist the Colours and Oogie Boogie Song.
