I was so stoked to see someone else fan girl over the Trebles' rendition of Flo Rida. I also did the same thing where I stopped the movie after hearing certain parts of the song and rewound several times to hear the whole thing in it's glorious audial perfection 😆 I agree that I actually like it better than the original. My personal preference is the way Jesse's lower voice handles that higher octave better versus that of Kesha's in the original which always felt a bit pitchy to me

The story of the first movie is that Chloe (the ginger) has to have surgery on her vocal chords and her voice comes back very low but I don't think her actress is singing the low notes.

I think their Britney song on the yacht was the only song I didn't like out of all of the Pitch Perfect songs. And to my ear, Miley was heavily auto-tuned as compared to the PP version.

The only Pitch Perfect song I didn't like was "Party in the U.S.A.". The way the one girl sang "butterflies fly away" made me cringe on "way." Very .. Broadway sound, which isn't bad, but does not fit that song at all. I loved all the others, even the ones you didn't like as much. Maybe especially those, though there were a couple that stood out. This song at 8:58 (I'm blind and can't see subtitles, and have never seen this song's name in writing, so don't know it), and the one the guys did earlier in the video. All but the one I already said I didn't like were really awesome, though.

Pitch perfect is weird because some of the performances are actually supposed to be bad or boring or not-wins, in fact many of the performances literally lose in the movie, lol. Sit still look pretty, for example, is mostly a throwaway to make the former Bellas (our heroes) feel old, lol.

The low note was faked. The gimmick was supposed to be that she had vocal Court surgery to remove nodes and it left her making a weird low sound she had never been able to do before so they Incorporated it into the band but it wasn't real. I have to say I'm disappointed though. You really should have also used Das sound machine and their cover of Fall Out Boy versus the original from the second one. Granted they had about 30 people in their group, but it sounded epic and I'm pretty sure they recorded it legitimately without any help or overdubbing.

Tara, what has happened to the sound in your videos? It used to sound good and professional with presumably an external mic, but now it sounds weak like it's just getting recorded from the camera mic.
