In most live performances of Wildflower, he cries because it is such a personal and emotional song for him. He debuted at 19 years of age and has now been in the industry for over 20 years. He is largely considered as the singer's singer. His live performances are equal if not better than the recorded versions. His song 'The Day' from the soundtrack for the tv series "Mr. Sunshine" is stunning, he wrote and composed the track. He also does theatre musicals and has won awards for his performances. I am an Australian fan, and he is my absolute favourite singer. He conveys pure emotion which is why he is better live. I adore this beautiful man and his stunning voice. I'm not sure if you realised, but this is all done in one take. Park Hyoshin's really a master of his craft with how sincerely he performs. He is second to none when it comes to ballads and the flawlessness of his live vocals. He has the ability to tear your heart out even if you don't understand the lyrics. He has the conviction, the range, the sensitivity etc and still sings like this despite vocal nodules. He debuted in 1999 and I hope he sticks around for a lot longer.

Idols can never be compared to orthodox singers if their evaluation is limited to their musical ability. To be a talented orthodox singer, you have to be at this level. Therefore, there are many very talented solo orthodox singers in Korea. However, it is true that there is a lot of orthodox singers of this level in other countries, so there is little interest. I think you mean he has performed in musicals (in South Korea); he has never appeared on Broadway, and I'm confident also he has never appeared in a musical that was on Broadway.

Park Hyo Shin is one of the most beautiful emotional singers ever. He is so talented and beloved. He is presently doing theater in South Korea. He had some terrible issues with his label, which interfered with his illustrious career. I am waiting with bated breath for him to perform in the US. Seeing him in person would be my dream come true! I’m so glad you got to hear him!

Wild Flowers is a song that has brought him a lot of recognition and has awards and records. It is an excellent choice to get to know him but in each of his 7 albums he has incredible songs. He is also a musical theater actor who has starred in Mozart, The Phantom of the Opera and the most recent Beethoven. If you see those videos you will be left breathless. 🤭

Park HYO SHIN’s earlier work was very much R&B. At some point he changed his style, but there is no doubt that the soul remained. He is poetic and meaningful. He often cries at the end of this song. And yes, his voice is perfection! I love him so much! He literarily feeds my soul.

Discovered Park Hyo Shin the same time I first heard Hua Chenyu and fell in love with his voice. He is also very active in musicals, so you should check out some of his performances...truly amazing. The live versions of this song are so much better! The emotions! Anyway, I suggest his song "Yearning" for you to see next maybe. There is a live performance with english subs on RU-vid. The lyrics are heartbreaking, but the vocals and feels he shows are beautiful. Also I love how he uses "we, you, us" in his lyrics not saying the gender of another person specifically. It helps to relate.
