she doesnt perform "Goddish" live because of the vocal layering involved in the production of the song, but i highly recommend reacting to her live performances of "Show", and "Unravel". she is just as good live, and even more aggressive to feed the audience. Her singing techniques are so varied because she started her music career uploading cover songs to youtube, of a bunch of different genres and artists, at the young age of 14. She's also an anonymous singer. something a western audience might be able to compare it to is Sia. she hides her face and name, and performs live with a backlit silhouette.

Wow! I never expected to see you guys react to Ado. She's a very flexible singer, her "technique" is almost similar to a voice actor with the way she can sing the same song with different "characters." Usually people start with Ussewa since that was her official debut. I recommend giving that a listen, then Gira Gira and then Show. They all have very different vibes. Also, you should know that before her official debut, she did a lot of Vocaloid covers. In a nutshell, Vocaloid is a voice software that's considered a musical genre on its own but that has a lot of variaty within it. Vocaloid songs are usually very character-driven and usually hard for an actual human to sing. So, Ado's singing style is heavily influenced by that.

God-ish being someone's intro to Ado is super wild, this song goes all over the freakin place and is clearly layered as part of the production while still putting all her ranges on display very well. Usseewa (her first song) and Show (one of her most recent ones, also has a live version) are the peak introductions to this insanely talented singer. You won't regret it.

I think Ado is the greatest singer of this time.

Ado excels at every point in singing, but the main thing about her has to be her range. She alone can cover ranges you would usually see at least 3-4 people sing, and her performance live is even better. I am very excited to see where she goes in the future, seeing how she was able to go (and sell out) a WORLD tour at just 21 years old, but I might agree with the people that are convinced that Ado single-handedly might just be the most talented solo female vocalist on this planet as of right now. If you are interested in more songs covering even more of her range, I would heavily suggest Usseewa (her debut single at 17), Crime and Punishment, Backlight and Tot Musica. Also in case there will be more reactions, even though it was not the case here, always do check for subtitles, in many (if not most) of her songs on youtube, there are english translated subtitles available!

I reccomend going down this Ado hole, you won't be disapointed. She's incredible, truly one of kinda and so so talented. She just did her World tour and even seeing her live in a absolutely packed venue she delivered 1000%. Show, Crime and punishment, idk, you can click any Ado song and love it especially her lives. I apologize for spamming in live chat and comments, but to summarize I am just very excited to see this ADO journey go down, if y'all chose to commit! Japanese musicians such Ado, Kenshi Yonezu, and Yorushika are so unique, I don't think you will ever hear anything similar to their music coming from North America. Each song never gets boring because it's so much more layered and nuanced that what we are used to in American pop music, which makes it feel like your can never stop cause your gonna be hit with something new! Anyways thanks for letting me geek out, but with BTS and Ado you've kind of unleashed me haha

The live video of her singing Unravel is absolutely incredible

Ado is what was colloquially known as an Utaite (oo-tye-tah) which means that she was a Japanese anonymous cover artist, this song Godish was originally made by the producer PinoccioP with vocals being done by the Vocaloid (audio processing software) Hatsune Miko, but in 2020 she made her first original Useewaa which was an immediate smash hit on the Japan top 100 charts. Even now Ado is still mostly anonymous as even in her live performances the lighting is done in a way that cast a shadow over her so people don't see her face. I highly recommend checking out Ado's EP "One Piece Film Red" where some of Japan's greatest producers came together to write songs for Ado to sing for the One Piece movie, it really shows just how versatile and amazing she is.

I would never have suggested anyone to start their journey listening to Ado with this song. It would be like starting to learn to swim with the high dive. Useewa was her first single, so that's a great place to start. Show is a more recent song that is one of her best. Aishite, aishite, aishite shows off her range without being so frenetic. Crime & Punishment is a masterpiece. And of course you have to listen to Unravel. She has a few live performances on her channel that you don't want to miss either.

2 more succumbed to Ado, towards the world domination of the godish singer. Of the singers I know, she is simply on another level, simply the best.

I just saw her in NYC and the closest I've ever felt listening to her sing was when I saw Prince. Absolutely surreal experience. It's like she plays so many different characters with her voice. Check out Crime and Punishment and Unravel has an incredible live version.

Ado is 21 years old woman she was popular in the japanese internet for her covers. She skyrocketed to mainstream fame in asia after her first Original song called Usseewa in 2020. (which is slang for shut up.) It was released a day before her 18th birthday. She has never revealed her face😊

I just saw her in Los Angeles this past Friday on her first World Tour. AMAZING EXPERIENCE LIVE!!!! She truly is so talented. Everyone already suggesting great songs but my personal favorites are Readymade (The jazz/swing vibes) & All Night Radio (CityPop vibes) but honestly you cannot go wrong going down the Ado Rabbit Hole. Love the reaction, ADO is one of the best artists I've ever heard, her voice is amazing✨✨. I honestly can't believe no one has asked for her before, there are LIVE versions of several songs as she is on tour at the moment. I would recommend listening to ADO - Gira Gira because I feel like the genre would really appeal to both of you 💕. She also voiced a character (UTA) in a movie, which led to her releasing a whole album (UTA SONG'S FROM ONE PIECE FILM RED) which I find fascinating because it shows how versatile her voice is. Godish is a heck of a way to be introduced to Ado, lol. It's an extreme look at what her vocal range for sure,. As for what else to react to from her I'd say look for her live versions of Unravel, Odo, Show and New Genesis. As for her studio versions I'd recommend Crime and Punishment, Usseewa (the piano version she has is amazing as well as the normal studio version), Value, and all the One Piece Film Red songs. All of this is on her channel. She's a fun rabbit hole to go down.

I LOVE ADO! Ado does do live shows but she doesn't show her face, all her shows have her with lights at her back so she is a silhouette. She's completely self taught, mostly from listening to Vocaloid which if you don't know what that is it is a digital voice synthesizer that uses samples from a real voice that you program and make songs with, due to being digital people make it do wild things that humans typically can't do. But when you love something enough to try to emulate it, even if it's impossible, you can find yourself getting closer than you could have imagined. As you read she recorded her first song Usseewa when she was 17 and released it on her 18th birthday, and from there she blew up due to the song heavily criticizing Japanese work culture. I definitely recommend reacting to that one to see where she started but my other favorites of hers are "Aishite Aishite Aishite", "Crime and Punishment", both of which I don't believe have live versions of yet but do have fan made lyric videos if you would like to understand what the songs are about. I also heavily HEAVILY recommend her live versions of "Show" and "Unravel" they are just, amazing, especially the live version of Unravel, if you wanted to react to the studio version of unravel specifically first and see the difference that is also something that you could do cause it's STAGGERING how she took such an intense song that she already rocked in the studio and did it BETTER live. The girl just knows how to control her voice on a level I don't think anyone else in the world can match, sure some people might be able to do a single thing better than her, but her breadth of range and the raw emotion she puts into every single song I don't think can be topped.

She has an original song titled 'Show' that you could check out to see her range, she has the live version of that song as well on her channel. But if you want to see how crazy her voice is, I'd recommend her cover of the song 'Crime and Punishment'. If you want something with crazy rap, you can check out 'Fleeting Lullaby'. If you want something more vocal focused, I think 'Dignity' is insane. For song production, I've heard that her song 'Odo' is amazing. You don't know the rabbit hole that you're going into. She's an absolute monster. You are sure to be surprised with every song she sings. She's so creative and free in her singing you'll never get bored with her. All her songs are highly recommended but I guess you should start with Ussewa. Crime and Punishment, Tot Musica, and Show are also really great. Also, she's an anonymous singer but she sings live in her concerts where the backlight hides her face.

Ado is a self produced and self taught musical artist who had incredible range. Her music to what I can describe, is like a party in a car. You may not know where you're headed, but it's gonna be a blast. I highly recommend her song "Show" since it is such a blast to listen to. And yes, there is a live version of it.

Oohhh :O Originally visited your channel for your BTS reactions, but OML YOU'RE GETTING INTO ADO!!! gotta thank John Reaves fr If you ever get into her live performances, Imma just say that 1) "Show" and "love ka?" are great to enjoy her fast-paced, rapid changes in voice live 2) "Unravel" (Ado's cover of TK's song) and "Dignity" showcases her raw emotional performances (I say "performance" because she gets into character, not just singing with perfect technique; you can always listen to Ado's studio recording of the song, too, and maybe also TK's original song for comparison; each version is incredible and differs in their take of the song) You'll find in her live performances that she doesn't show her face. It's not just a gimmick; it's part of the utaite culture and a message to the masses: "Don't pay attention to my looks; listen to me sing." It's honestly astonishing how successful she is, even just finishing a world tour. Ado started off covering vocaloid songs (basically songs where producers use voice synthesizers like the famed Hatsume Miku instead of a human vocalist) before her debut as part of the utaite culture. She still does cover songs, but she also sings her own songs. Ado does not write her own songs (not a lyricist, not a producer, not a composer), but she's such an excellent vocalist that I don't care lmao; she embodies the emotion well always, so these songs mean something to her, always. Ado sings for a variety of genres, and her "character" and voices adjust for each song. She does sing non-EDM, slower songs, like ballads, such as "Where the Wind Blows" and "Dignity." She acts as an idol in "New Genesis." Her voice does well even in a chill song like her recent "Value" (for the company Apple lol). If you want a whiplash in just one song, I'd suggest her cover of "Aishite Aishite Aishite."

Seconding previous recommendations for Aishite Aishite Aishite, an already beautiful song that Ado absolutely shatters. (Though I suggest watching Nerissa Ravencroft's english translation cover "Love me Love me Love me" to get the context of the song, it's kinda important to understand the performance... you know, on top of Nerissa's cover being really, really good too) There's also her cover of Otome Kaibou, which I listen to daily because holy shit it's amazing. Ado is just about the best singer of this generation.

Should check out “Aishite Aishite Aishite” to hear a bit more of that vocal chaos. I saw her live in Chicago a couple months ago and words just can’t describe how amazing the live performance was. It felt like a dream.

If you want another song where she just goes insane vocally, try Aishite Aishite Aishite. It's another one where she basically voice acts the song. Other than that, her live version of Unravel is a must, as well as her cover of Crime & Punishment. Both of those perfectly showcase her ability to capture raw emotion with her voice. Be advised tho that she's faceless. Even live, she sings on front of a giant screen that backlights her so all you see is a silhouette.
