@@justinmanalo2154 Both Regine and Jaya won on Asia Song Festival that's why they are dubbed with a "Asia's" on their moniker. And yes, Asian countries that time agreed to that .
Both of them having the title of "Soul thingy" that's why when they sing heart broken/sad songs, you can feel emotionally the meaning. Jaya - Asia's Queen of Souls Kz - Asia's Soul Supreme
Yazik is one of the best voice analysis. Such a great video.I learnt a lot from you. Also,Yazik you're soOoo Cuteeee HAHAHAHA.Love from the Philippines💛🇵🇭

I can't believe that until now you haven't react to her performance of Rolling in the Deep in the Singer2018. If you really what to be amaze, check more performance of KZ on Singer2018. THANKS IN ADVANCE YAZIK!
Thanks for reacting this wonderful Cover , Coach! God bless. Katrina Velarde made that “ Somewhere Over the Rainbow “ a wonderful jazz/ blues with her awesome unique style !You need to hear it because she made my “ Rainbow “ never the same bland , girlish music the same again.... My beloved Filipinos... their coaches from birth are the world’s best singers... and I just realize that when you said it... through the music you hear in the neighborhood. I used to think they don’t have originality because to have a personal Coach is so expensive and who can afford that when you can hardly even afford to buy a soda? But then , when they learn... their natural musical artistry just appears, and the music passion in our hearts awakens with our own styles ... and so the song might be someone else’s but the style is them , thus becoming one ,,, which makes wonderful music , like these.... it’s really like a diamond in the rough . When you ask a Filipino... like Marcelito Pomoy ( great example) who lived in the streets since the age of 5 or 6 yrs old just to survive...” who is your vocal trainer?” before that show “ Tawag ng Tanghalan” he looks at you blankly because aside from just listening to the neighbor’s blazing stereo or the music in the jeepneys and streets,,, he didn’t even have Karaoke ... I often wondered why homes, when they play their stereo are so loud that the whole neighborhood can hear.., but now I realize it’s to share the music to everyone in the neighborhood , who wants to listen but can’t even afford a transistor radio in their homes. And so the kids who plays in street, or the students who goes to school in the mornings hears those wonderful songs from somewhere and by the time you realize, your brain had been imprinted with that wonderful song. That’s why before, we dontbknow that singer... just the song.,. Thanks for this reaction, my heart woke up to appreciate my beloved country’s ways! In the poor areas ,.. the music in the air coming from some middle class neighbors are the only positives in their lives... kids as young / younger than the TNT Boys when they started , belts out pitches and notes you wouldn’t believe ... Francis Conception of thevTNat Boys is a great example... he was singing when he was three , I saw a vid of him when he was 4 or 5... they were 7 in his family , very poor but with perseverance positive attitude, their voices are their salvation to help their parents survive at a very young age! Love your Vlog, Coach ... thank you for appreciating our Filipino ways. We can leave our beloved homeland but we never forget to provide our parents and who we left behind...so yes, we have something in common. God bless, and Peace! You are welcome to visit our country !
Your speech about having lower voice 😍 I wish I knew that when I was younger! There was a time when Jaya was at the peak of her career, I was a little girl of 5 and I used to listen and sing along to her songs several times a week but then millenium came and the influence of US Pop dominated the media here. It was hard to sing in the same range and pitch as Britney or Mariah or Christina Aguilera. Then in my 3rd grade I remember cleaning the classroom with some groupmates and I was singing when classmate a commented in a disappointed way that I have deep, full voice like Jaya. He then mimicked my voice and had the others laughing. Me being young then and not really appreciating music in different forms, made me feel embarassed with the voice that I had. So I tried to change my voice over the years and was never convinced of my own tone. I resumed singing karaoke only in my college years and only around people who I know won't judge my voice 😅 That story aside, it is good to hear your side about how your country differs from ours when it comes to music. For people who have deep love for music, I guess they would appreciate living here although it's hard to make it big in the music industry as the competition is tighter. We often say, "Filipinos are the hardest audience to please/impress with singing." But I guess that was then. Good thing the media has evolved, Filipinos are getting more exposed with more genres and different styles of singing rather than the *Diva-ish* ones (is that even a word? Lmao) and platforms such as RU-vid exist now which enables everyone to make a name for themselves should they choose to. Thanks for reacting to KZ and Jaya (we pronounce J like american english so it's Jah-yah). I don't mind the talkative bits, those inputs are welcome to this viewer 😊
Hi! Thank you for this comment. It's a shame that people made you feel this way when you were younger...we really have choose our words carefully. Yeah, Filipinos must be the hardest audience to please I guess... Regards
Jaya is the first Filipino recording artist to chart in the United States, as her debut single "If You Leave Me Now" peaked at 44 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Jaya is a queen of soul and kz is the Asia Soul Supreme and thier both exceptional talent perfectly blended together and that kz nature to rearrange and doing scat stuff and their riff runs perfectly delivered. So much souls of this performance and i agree that you doesn't have to belt most of the time to prove that you are a good singer or artist and that's what exactly kz said before when she meet jessie j on the show "singer". Kz doesn't went through on throat surgery but she went through a biopsy instead 'cause she was scared to undergo on surgery to think that she might couldn't sing again.
Jaya is Asia's Queen of Soul while KZ is called Soul Supreme. These two are phenomenal musical artists. KZ writes lyrics, does musical sounds and arranges. She just started acting & played a lead role in a movie, "The Art of Ligaw" (The Art of Courtship) in which she composed its song 'Quicksand'. You should react to this video aired on Wish Bus 107.5.
What I love about this combo is that both of them have reason to be intimidated by the other. Jaya is JAYA. She has honed her craft, she has solidified her place, she has NOTHING to prove. KZ is a trend setter. She has fought her way through the industry but compared to JAYA, she's NEW. Through this, you can see neither of them competing in the sense that they are robbing each other. They are SO GOOD at what they do - individually. When you put them together, its BEYOND. BEYOND.
Hi!just a little info on why Filipinos are great at singing.Try to watch David Dimuzio's video about "why Filipinos are the best singer in the world".I think that may help you understand more about the reason why. By the I'm loving your reactions and I enjoy watching it.thanks👍😊👍
Just started watchig your reactions to our great singers! I love tour reactions to every video. You should visit the Philippines and watch them sing live at ASAP. It's a noontime show every Sunday, you will surely enjoy it.
For filipino male singers, you can choose either of the ff: Kris lawrence (great package; very tslented) Bugoy (pls check his rendition of 'one day'; he has great control ) Jay-R (our rnb prince) Johnoy Danao (cool, soulful) Jed madela (speechless, has won international awards) Rhap salazar (great technique and power like darren) John saga (who sounds like sam smith) ... will add more next time

jaya is philippines queen of soul. she started her career in the usa. she released her first album in 1989 in california. she went home to the philippines in 1996 and continued her career there. she has numerous platinum albums in her belt. very respected singer/artist in the philippines.
Good choice of Filipino singers to start with. You will soon discover lots of great singers both famous and not so famous in the Philippines and I could guarantee that you will grow to love them as much as we do! Welcome!
Quarantine brought me here. Why Yazic reactions so addictive to me haha,, I just started watching his reactions to Charice performances, then so forth and so forth Hahaha and oh my God! Maybe I just love hearing teaching, coaching while he reacts Coz I'm a teacher too and I'm a frustrated musician that can't sing. Good Job! And more power to you, I wish you all the Yazic, I love you, keep inspiring... And here I go again, who loves talking.... 😂
It's lovely that a professional musician appreciates our golden singers here in the Philippines. You have reacted on Regine Velasauez and Jaya. Please also react on Lani Misalucha. She's one of the greatest singers from Philippines. Ghey are considered as the vocal trinity of the Philippines. Please react on Lani Misalucha's "Ikaw lang ang Mamahalin" where she was wearing a white dress. Again, it's lovely watching your reactions and appreciating our golden singers. Thank you very much. God bless and sendinh lots of love from Philippines.
Thank you for reacting to these great philipino artists! Please react to Angelina Jordan *just now only 13yrs old* her version of Feeling Good, Live at Allsang Pa Grensen when she was only 10/11yrs old! Also Born to Die, you won't be sorry listening to another young talent. BTW she is from Norway and definitely an old soul at such a young age.
Jaya ,a queen of soul is a daughter of an actress and a rock and roll queen of the Philippines Elizabeth Ramsey who once performed in Las Vegas, grew up surrounded with music and there's no need for vocal coaches...😍
This is my favourite video in RU-vid. It makes me feel good every time I watch it. But if you want another vocal showcase, then you should react to Gary Valenciano singing “Spain” in the Wishbus. This is another good video that you can use for your students.
Please react also kz "rolling in the deep" on the show "singer 2018" and you will see how she does the rolling in the deep 'cause she changed the whole song and of course her strength to scat.
Hi coach yazik i love whenever you sing or hum even in a short period of time.. Can i have a favor.. Can you sing for us.. Any song cover or your original song.. Please please. Thank you so much. Love lots..
Hello Coach. If you want to hear Jaya singing in an unusual way than the way she commonly does. Watch the collaboration of Jaya, Jason D. and Jay-r " Officially Missing You". That is lit*
Jaya is The Queen of Soul here in Ph.. she is really good..she has a lot of concert..she is an icon..she is very famous..she is also one of the judges of TAWAG NG TANGHALAN in ABS CBN,its a well known singing contest in TV..
Hi Yazik, here's a new video pf Dimash singing at the concert of Maestro Krutoy (he's the composer/pianist) on this video. He also composed "The love of tired swans" The lyrics were done by Lara Fabian(songwriter-composed "Broken Vow"). This new video is entitled "Love is like a dream: - link: @ (w/ Eng subtitles by the video owner). This performance is so hauntingly beautiful!
It’s pronuouced Juh-Ya. Never heard you talk so much. LOL! You should watch KZ’s Rolling in the Deep in Singer 2018. KZ incorporated different genres in one song. Also the TNT Boys have a new song Born Free. Their best yet.

Wow...thank you for your reaction to kz and jaya. I hope you can react to her own song Nagiisa na lang in wish bus. I love your reaction....keep singing and god bless 😇
Jaya was once a champion among asian singers held in Hong Kong. If you tour among Asian Nations you will be surprised that most of their entertainers or singers are Filipinos.
We do have a lot of vocal coaches in the Philippines but then for singers here , they mostly learn how to sing on their own, and when they are famous that is when they avail for voice coaches to learn proper techniques to improve and protect their vocals
