This was back in September 2018 when she was the defending champion on the noontime TV singing competition Tawag ng Tanghalan. She's 20 or 21 and made history when she became the first contender to hold the defending champion title for 10 days.
This is a few months ago if I'm not mistaken, it's a singing competition aired every noon. Most if not all are amateur singers judged by about 6 and more iconic singers from the country. It's an everyday thing to see this aired.
yeah I enjoyed this performance as well and I like your reaction even from that whole intro 'cause even at the start you can already feel that she has a lot of range in her voice and she's very creative. I'd love for you to react to more of her performances which I'm sure some comments here have already mentioned. A lot of people request that you react to her #Someday performance at #tnt (it's a singing contest in a Filipino show). And yeah her voice has an RnB tone 'cause the runs she makes sound so smooth and crisp but her voice also has that old school classical jazz vibe to it or something

The singing contest that she joined is still ongoing...called tnt...maybe this coming july or august is the grandfinals, she's one of the finalist...hope she wins...

She was the first 10th time defending champion of that Noontime show singing contest, it's a competition where you have to defend your title everyday until you reach the whole of fame title, well in short she's so good..hehehe..

You will be amazed how the way she sung that 2 songs - her transition from chest to head to falsetto down to here chest is kind of amazing. I would love to hear how would you react to that version of her. For your information sir yazik, she has cold during that performance her voice is kindda breaking down but still she managed to win 10 consecutive wins and be held as the 1st and newest “TNT Holder” - you are recognized as a TNT holder if you won 10 consecutive wins in your daily performances.
TNT BOYS were also came from that singing competition. As u can see at the back of Elaine in the beginning it says "Tawag ng Tanghalan" which means Call of Stage. She is in her early 20sI think, I forgot. She was the first quarter winner of Tawag ng Tanghalan 2019, the same competition where the TNT Boys were discovered and became runners-up. She is waiting for the Final Round. She is also the first hall of famer, having won 10 consecutive weeks in a row, and undefeated.
