What I find MOST amazing is that this young person is singing "convincingly" about the harsh end of a relationship, when I can only believe she's never experienced a relationship of this nature. She must be so empathic that she literally picks up the emotion of the singer she's covering. I love this young lady's skill, but I'm still baffled by that particular ability. How will a person THAT sensitive survive life when those experiences are actually her own?!

I've been following Angelina for 7 years and I still cry at a lot of her songs, many times over. Now, listening to this one. It's not just her voice, it's her whole being, it's who she is.

As a 55yr old Alaskan man... AJ has gently pulled tears from my eyes more than a few times. And like you said, I really can't explain it. It's raw emotion, no filter, no games... sung in a way that causes a person to trust her. To be vulnerable with her. And then that beautiful voice does the rest. I'm a musician, and absolutely love music... but never, ever, has a singer caused me to cry. Much less on several different occassions and performances. Angelina is special. I'm a grown-a** 57 year old man and she definitely has unmatched ability to cause me to well up! Her vocal skills are incredible...extremely gifted artist. And, she is a humanitarian...she sings her live performances barefoot to raise awareness for children around the world who are poor and shoeless. While traveling with her family in the Middle East as a young child, Angelina encountered another young girl who was weighing people in the street with a bathroom scale to support her family. The girl was shoeless, so Angelina took her own shoes off and gave them to her...she has so much compassion and love for people. She is aptly named!

Not surprised on your reaction. In her Norway’s Got Talent debut (when she was 7 years old) and sang Gloomy Sunday (from Billie Holiday) she made a judge cry. There is something in her voice that is hypnotic and reaches inside your soul. Her Million Miles live in studio video (dedicated to her late grand father and all those who have lost a loved one) will have the same impact on you. God has sent us an Angel. With all division in this world, there seems to be one consensus, Angelina has touched them on a personal level.

In interviews she has talked about a special place that she is in when she sings; she has described it as endless love/happiness/light, but really hard to describe in words. Great reaction! Angelina has been making grown men (and women) cry since her very first TV appearance at age seven, so nothing to be ashamed of there! Also, when she does covers after the age of eight or so, she neither imitates or emulates the originals. Very often, she simply improves them. For originals, «7th Heaven» and «Million Miles» live in studio is a great place to start, but the older ones («Shield» live on Skavlan, «What is Life» and «Oslo») are also very good.

It's all good, I cry listening to AJ pretty much every day. She is so incredibly empathic that she actually amplifies the emotions in the songs that she sings and always manages to seem like she is singing directly to you. As far as I can see you wrote a song called "My Angel" in memory of your mother, who passed away. Angelina lost her grandpa and wrote the song "Million Miles" in memory of him. Anyone who lost someone dear can relate to the song.

So Asia, you are officially under the Angelina spell. We can say it's her control, her tone, the nuances she injects, the many colors of her voice, and on and on. I have watched so many reactors burst into tears listening to Angelina. She is an empath. Her breathing and her key changes, her delivery, her timing, and also just her energy, are all able to reach right into you, heart and soul. She takes you on an emotional journey.
