Hello Gerard, as always fantastic reaction. Remember in 2017 when Dimash was invited to compete in the Singer, he was the only non Chinese. So, of course he had to sing first for The Singer season. He was only 22 during that competition and as he said, “that was the first time singing on the ‘adult stage’”. He didn’t know English well at all. I can’t speak for other languages because I only know English. I know a little Spanish but not enough to understand conversations. There have been many critics of Dimash’s English speaking but there are thousands who only know English and can’t speak it properly so they have no room to criticize him at all. Then many call him an alien or not an human being. He is 100%+ a human being who has worked, trained, and practiced vigorously since age 5 to achieve his dream of becoming a great singer which he did not take for granted. He will be 28 in May 2022 and listen to his English now. Igor Krutoy who is a renowned maestro/composer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. I love it when it’s just the two of them on stay. Igor is extremely particular with whom he works with and he saw greatness in Dimash. Dimash is not only a talented singer but he is a truly humble young man who loves everyone. He’s working on his doctorate degree in musicology and I understand that his little brother helps him with English translations. Dimash does not take his singing for granted and has fans around the world. You won’t find half naked woman shaking their bodies forgetting that they are not in their bedrooms. Rappers sing violent songs which I don’t bother listening to. Even though Dimash sings in many languages, he knows exactly what he’s singing and can transmit the emotions that we all enjoy. There is no singer like him and again he is a real human being like all of us. The difference is, he strives for perfection. 2017 was just the very beginning, look where he is now? His mom is an Opera singer and his dad is his producer. I know this wasn’t easy for Dimash but his love of singing has him where he is today. Still training and swimming. I love your reactions.❤️

@@ludmilalashova5660 Спасибо.Но не помню автора который освещал это видео сразу после опубликования уточнил, что видео записано, где то в японской студии звукозаписи. А так в курсе, что у него есть своя студия и многие песни звучали именно из домашней студии, где на стенах были национальные инструменты. В данном видео они отсутствуют, но мой опыт мне подсказывает, что это не домашняя студия. Могу и ошибаться.

Así que el problema de elegir a un profesor en esta familia nunca... En China, Dimash cantó una versión de la canción en «mandarín». Pero la canción original fue escrita por el compositor japonés Tanaki y aquí Dimash la interpretó por primera vez en japonés, lo que es muy diferente tanto en estilo como en estado de ánimo. En 5 años pasados el talento de Dimasha ha florecido considerablemente, su maestría vocal se lo hacía aún mejor, y en la afectividad en general poco igual en la escena. Nice to see you again, Gerard. Yes, Dimash is able to access the pure artistry of his soul and express it in his amazing vocals. His complete mastery of technique leaves him free to create masterpieces that no one else could. The beginning of this song is almost pure air that somehow he added sound to. Impossible for almost anyone else to replicate and come out with the same result.
This was another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. This is quickly becoming one if not the favorite Dimash performance for me and it invokes a very visceral response in me, just as "Ave Maria" did. This actually was a live performance in that Dimash sang "Ikanaide" live for the Tokyo Jazz Festival Live stream in January of 2021 as it was being recorded. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash's pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is "expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese" and that he does not only perfectly pronounce Japanese but "expresses Japanese…with Japanese emotion.". Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to "Ikanaide," posted on his Twitter account that he has never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way. Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Li Xianglan," filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress and singer during World War II who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends, she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched. She resettled in Japan, where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. Dimash, demuestra una vez más su capacidad de interpretación que lo distingue aún más allá de sus capacidades (buenisimas) para cantar en todo su rango y los distintos modos y matices que utiliza. Su interpretación de Ikanaide es suprema Hay muchas más que tenés que reaccionar (algunas más antiguas) como por ejemplo SAMALTAU (Tokio jazz 2020, creo), KAIRAM ELIN, QARAGYM AI (la versión que canta en honor a su autor maestro de Dimash, que murió por Covid o la que cantó en el Digital Show). Adagio e ikanaide son las únicas canciones de Dimash que siento no ha podido superar al original pero están a la par. Adagio de Lara e ikanaide de koji tamaka. La canto en japones en honor al autor Koji Tamaki que en esta ocasion ia a recibir un premio a su trayectoria. Dimash en 2017 hizo arreglos musicales que ademas de mostrar su rango vocal dulcifico el dolor crudo de la version original del sr Tamaki . Que deberias oir para valorar la transformacion.
