The Music Junkie Channel: It's a station devoted just to music. Two of my greatest joys in life are making music and creating media for other people to enjoy, especially videos that they haven't seen before and that are both humorous and original. I've grown to appreciate a wide range of music, from rap to metal, and I want to share my enthusiasm with you. One of my most significant sources of satisfaction in life is being a content producer, and it's a tremendous honour to share that satisfaction with all of you as we develop as a community. In my 12 years as a professional musician, I've played thousands of performances in more than 20 countries, and I'd want to tell you about my experiences as I develop this channel.
Feel free to subscribe to the channel, like the video, and leave a comment with a link to a video you'd want me to respond to in the future if you like seeing my responses in this one.

Honestly you can't go wrong with pretty much any Polyphia song. Playing God and G.O.A.T. are required listening. O.D. and Nasty are 2 of my personal favorites.

The bass player is who inspired me to pick up the instrument because of a song he featured in. The band is “The Omnific” and the song is “Antecedent” Please give it a listen. I think Clay is left out a little bit too much and this song I think really shows how good he is.

Antecedent is an incredible bass solo (3 bassists in a song 🙌😂🔥) I’m with you my friend, after hearing his GOAT solo I grabbed my bass again because of his innovation, brilliant bassist 👏

My favorite part of that video is the trumpet player at the end. Oh and Scott getting more appreciation and screen time

Yeah they're amazing.. addictive actually. Many people in the guitar world see Tim and Scotty as two of the future legends and as two new "pioneers revolutionizing" how guitar is played nowadays, along with the Tosin Abasi, Mateus Asato, Manuel Gardner Fernandes, Ichika Nito and so on. You can't go wrong, but every song doesn't sound the same! They have a signature sound, but they go from pop, to hip-hop, flamenco, metal and so on.. but always melodic. Enjoy the rabbit hole 👌

Steve Vai - Teeth of the hydra/Tender Surrender/Bad Horsie are some recommendations for you by Steve, Polyphia - G.O.A.T is probably one of their best but Playing God/Neurotica/Bloodbath are pretty damn good too. Awesome video dude, keep on it! 🤟

@5:27 you earned my upmost respect 🙌 you are the first person I’ve seen in reaction videos to actually notice anyone besides Tim 👏 yes he’s incredible, but every person in that band is magic…unbelievable talent and my hats off to you for actually being invested in the whole band 🖤🔥 I hadn’t touched my bass in years, Clay Gober truly inspired me to learn his unique style of playing, never seen or heard anything like it and I’m floored by the expertise of each musician 🖤 plus…they’re incredibly nice dudes 👏

Polyphia is my favorite band right now! As others have said, Playing God and GOAT are always basics to listen to for them. My personal favorites from them are 40oz, Chimera, Yas, Look but Don't Touch and Icronic which has a great drum playthrough by their drummer Clay Aeschliman. Actually, all of Clay's Meinl playthrough videos are amazing

Artists are FOREVER writing songs ... specifically ... with SOMETHING or someone in mind, using WORDS to communicate the ARTIST'S narrative. Polyphia, on the other hand, are writing music that transcends barriers. Language, race, and culture are irrelevant to the humanity of emotional response. This is music that subliminally encourages each individual who hears it, to evoke a story that is uniquely personal. It is a powerful juxtaposition just how paradoxically universal this really is. Who knows ...this might even be the exact synchronicity we need to raise the consciousness of humanity. Besides, I'm kinda sick of being told what to think ... We are told what to think ... EVERY DAY !!! Every lyric of every song, everything we read, everything on the ... (pffft) 'NEWS', every bit of garbage we consume on social media ... constantly shaping our personal 'Au Courant'. What if we were all allowed to just arrive at a SIMULTANEOUS SPIRITUAL CONCLUSION ??? ... in our own words ??? ... privately in our own sphere of reference ??? ... just resonating in the higher vibration of existence. Sorry bro ... Just nerding out loud on paper here ... ❤ Just start at the beginning with Polyphia and move through the evolution. It is actually fascinating to see their skillsets develop.
