I love that she sings *Mariah* songs but with so much originality! ✨ One of the best vocalists of this generation yet so underrated! I wonder why she hasn't gotten Worldwide Recognition; she has the immense talent, her own unique style & sound plus "the looks" that Hollywood loves to promote etc. *I JUST DON'T GET IT!* Edit: She was on The Voice UK and sadly she didn't win; guess we're boycotting The Voice 😣

Carlos Guajardo Christina isn’t THAT far off? I mean she’s a very very agile singer, comparably so with Mariah, and her belts are more consistent and her mix is stronger. Mariah has her on headvoice and low notes (by a mile with low notes). But I get you, we just need a celine replacement now.

I don’t know why people are hating on her, she is just a Lamb like all of us. She has a right to sing but it doesn’t mean she is trying to copy her, that is her voice and her own way. Mariah is different and unique just like her, different abilities/tones etc..
Aa Imer when you sing a song the exact way the original did that called a copy. Lambs try to copy the notes which is what she’s doing. It’s not hating, just make sure you don’t compare her at all or bring her near the category of Mariah. That’s all. She’s a good singer, but many will not enjoy that tone.
Joshua Jackson Well, I think for me she is just doing a cover to the song and using what she have to sing it but she doesn’t have the tone because she is different but she is not on the same category as Mariah. I mean, if her tone is not that good then who cares? Does that mean we can’t have the right to cover a song, just like Mariah on doing covers adding high notes and other people complain for Mariah adding high notes like it means that she is being too arrogant for doing too much. Like, what I just said they have different abilities to sing and different categories, we can’t compare both of them but Mariah is better.
Aa Imer I care if her tone is good, because then it would be something nice to listen to. An album by her with her upper range would be painful for me. A lot of people care about tone because that’s what will make you want to listen to her for hours. I’m just afraid people will say she’s Better than Mariah because she’s young and has range. It’s a slippery slope coming in as an artist covering Mariah. It will hurt you in the long run. She needs to separate herself from that otherwise she’s doomed.
I love her originality. 😂 The Lambily's get mad when singers sing Mariah and don't do it like her but when it comes this girl, it's totally fine if she's singing it with her own spin. HAHAHA 😂
She was a massive fav to win that series, but somehow didn't. I don't know why she's not a huge music star yet. She's got the whole package and then some.
Check out her song "I'm Coming Home To You" - it's a massive ballad paying homage to the Carey/Houston style/era written by Scott Alan. Christina deserves so much more recognition as a vocalist. Her performances on The Voice were amazing.
I bought the song minutes after hearing her voice and doing some research LOL... the song itself is awesome. Covers all the bases as far as lyrical content, melody, and sentimentality. And it definitely elicits that 90's urban love ballad sound.

Navyforeveryoung Jean-Philippe Simply singing high notes doesn’t mean Ariana is better. You have to take vocal agility, resonance, melismas, transitions, breathing techniques, and vibrato into consideration. Ariana’s voice is damaged, I miss her broadway days when her voice was actually there. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Ariana!! I’m just saying that vocally, Christina Marie is way better :)

Hi there. May I suggest "Live for the one I love" by Celine Dion. Thus René has dedicated most of his talent to Celine's career, he also managed Veronique Dicaire's shows. I strongly suggest you check her out. Her voice will impress you.
She said after the competition that she ddnt want to became a star, she just sing for hobbie and like have a normal life, shes married after the show and live with her songs on the internet, I Think that she will have her songs comming out, but nothing so much huge.
Good on her. The industry would inevitably tear her apart... in more ways than one. At least this way, she'll not only be able to preserve her voice, she'll also have free will and that's not something you can buy when you're famous.
I ddnt mention the dark side but she did mention that she ddnt like the way the things was taking, and she says that shes believe in God and will never sold her soul, I read this on her Facebook she was answering another singer, and she was saying how happy she was to have not give her soul for fame, that makes me believe in all of those things, the music industry is really satanic, look what happened with Christina Grimmie, she said in an interview that she will not act like that, she will not wear what they want her to wear and she did not sold her soul, after that she was murdered by a guy whos killed herself after.
@@joaopauloloures Although evidence points to the contrary in regards to Christina Grimmie (I also believe her death was unfortunately random), what you said about the music industry being satanic is indeed true. Having lived in Hollywood and being a part of the 'scene', I've witnessed some truly disturbing stuff. Singers who want fame and fortune are better off without it in the long run. The reality is, it all comes at too steep a price for most people to handle, at least those who hold true to their values and self-worth.
FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ARE POSING AS VOCAL COACHES- she's not shouting. She's projecting or in vocal lingo, belting, which is needed in the types of songs she covers, otherwise the impact cannot be observed. Mariah's songs not only require the singer to attain long and difficult notes, but also SUSTAIN. Christina effectively and almost seamlessly does this, which is a rare, albeit impossible singing task 99% of vocalists cannot achieve, simply because they lack the genetic profile. Lastly, she's not nasal. Please look up the term and while we're on the subject of vocab, understand that the terms, 'sound', 'timbre', and 'tone' all mean the same thing. In other words, you cannot have sound without tone, or a poor timbre but a good sound. Learn your stuff before you comment on a person's vocal ability.

She's terrific and can hit those high notes, but I don't know her voice is not pleasing to listen to, it's like her singing is more about showing off but missing the soul.
@@Rosannasfriend Yeah saying no soul was bad choice of words but I've watched her performances and still my ears don't find that factor that would make me listen to her all day like I do with Mariah, Whitney, Glennis, etc. Just my opinion.
Well I think that sometimes she does Oversinging and her tone is so pitchy in the high notes. With more practice and technic could improve that part. And remember that she is recording with the phone's microphone.
