It took me watching a guide to realize Kai has a background in jazz and ballet dance because of course he does, I'm just blind. xD' I'm also a baby exo-l (although I knew the members faces and names before getting into EXO, they are so prominent in k-pop as a group and soloists, it's insane, having been around forever, 11 or so years) so watching your journey as I'm going through my own is cool, lol. There's a ton of backlogged content, I'll be watching things for months and not run out of content. You're a rap and rock fan, so as you're going through recs, maybe you already got them, but can I suggest the live performance video of Diamond-Coming Over-Run This-Drop That-Power? Power was a song they did towards the end of The Killing Voice, but the rest are B-Sides. You're gonna love Rock!Chen in Drop That, lol. Chen also shows that side of himself in an unofficial solo concert song called Uprising. Please react to that one! It's criminally short but I also would like to see your face when you hear it for the first time, he's such a bad*ss singer/performer! You're gonna get/are probably getting alot of requests for live performances. I've been going through it the last week going through them and watching reaction videos to them too, it's been a fun time. You can't go wrong with any EXO but I hope you don't feel burdened trying to keep up with requests. Please go at your own pace!

Tempo is unmatched… so many kpop groups cover and learn Exo songs as part of their training and continue to perform it in their concerts because they dont have enough popular songs of their own… but nobody dares to cover Tempo! Who does acapella nowadays?! The harmonies, the rap flow, everything… to me it’s like an rnb bohemian rhapsody 😂 legend has it they were just messing around in the studio and the producers loved it so much they kept that acapella part in

You have reached my favorite K-Pop song of all time. The jazz chords, the Acapella breakdown, the bed squeak, the deep voice Chanyeol part, the way the pacing of the song changes without ever technically changing tempo which is a stroke of genius. It's just perfect.
