I feel like this is confirmation for me. I thought I was going nuts while I was praying the other week and I felt a voice in my heart say, "i want you all to myself." I thought I was going nuts? I'm too old to become a sister and have far too many student loan debts. So it still doesn't make sense to me but with God anything is possible. I'm going to keep praying about this.
I am in need of prayers. I felt compelled to somehow ask sister Faustina to pray for my wife and I. I was recommended by a priest to pray the litany of trust after telling him my story. My wife and I are high school sweethearts and have been trying to conceive for 20 years. We have had no children so at 40 years of age we decided to foster in the hopes of adopting. We received a beautiful pair of siblings an 8 month old girl and a newborn boy. We had them for 11 months and they were reunited with their father who has a phenomenal history of serious crime. We are so heartbroken and depressed. We are so desperate to have children. I don't know why but again after praying the litany of trust every night for the last 2 months and hearing Sister Faustina's testimony I just felt compelled to somehow get her to pray for us. God bless you all.
Please pray to God to quench your thirst, but His Will be done. I made a prayer for you🙏 but stay connected & trusting in God, He Will for sure give you the love/ thirst you are looking for but be open to His desires because His desires & Will Can be the only which Can heal, satisfy & give peace🙏❤️🔥 go to Adoration more & ask God what He wills with you as a couple.. God loves you & has for sure a plan for your lives, be open to His desires & Willing cooperate with His plans.. 🙏❤️🔥
"You have to make your faith your own". How true. An excellent and inspirational story. Envy is not a desirable Christian attribute but I do envy those who have experiences such as Sister Faustina. May she long continue the life work she has chosen.

This story is amazing! Whenever I go on retreats and see sisters I am so awestruck with how joyful and at peace they are! They just have this glow about them! I look up to them so much and would love to be one but I also feel called to marriage. I don’t think I’m cut out to be a sister but hearing your story makes me want to go and visit a convent just to see! Please pray for my discernment

Praise be to God! How can anyone think that we as humans are just another animal, and one that came from monkeys at that? Listen to all the immaterial movements of the soul that she is speaking of. Listen to all the abstract concepts her intellect ponders. Listen to the contemplation and self-awareness she describes. Listen to the movements of her free will as her intellect informs it. Listen to how God, who is immaterial, speaks to her immaterial soul. This is beautiful. That soul, because it is immaterial, will live on after she dies, as will all of our souls. We as a society take for granted the awesome power of being made in God's image and likeness.

I believe that the oldest the accept is 30-something but they might make exceptions. Try contacting Sr. Bethany Madonna who is the vocations Director. Also, you can try looking into other orders that accept older women

Sister, I am curious about when you said that your sister got married and you were her maid of honor, but you had just received your habit of a novice; did you wear your habit as her maid of honor or were you allowed to wear a traditional bridesmaids dress?

Every living creature possess the qualities of it's parents. 1.Jesus was born to Mary, Mary was born to Hannah but God has no parents. 2.The physical make up of Jesus and Mary is flesh and bones, Lord is not. 3. People has seen Jesus and Mary, no-one has seen lord almighty. 4. Mother Mary is dead Jesus will die but Lord almighty is eternal. 5. Jesus and Mary both prayed to lord, The lord almighty is worthy of worship. All these qualities of Jesus makes him a human being ,Jesus the Son of Mary Not Son of God. Read the holy Quran a guidence and light from the lord almighty for those who fear. Know your lord know peace.
.Thanks for sharing this! Her story helped me a lot. I felt pretty much the same way about my life with such restlessness and emptiness inside.. But I didn't know what to do. After I watched this, As she said here, I started praying what I truly feel about my life and asking for a help. And He did helped me to have different mind! I am still struggling finding His good will for my life, But I am glad to feel that difference in my heart. I am praying to be happy christian the way she is now. I am volunteering and helping my mother who is in need of surgeries. I am also getting full support from my boyfriend. Although I am not sure if I am going to become a sister I think my vocation is really just helping with the people close to me.

My grandfather's sister was a nun in San Francisco, CA. I don't know of any other family member, on either parents' side who is a religious. I wish I knew more about my grand aunt, Sister Stella.
I read about Jesus's apostles and i found that women play most important rule in Bible. Women are Jesus's apostle of apostles also witness of resurrection.

Yes, agreed Jane,,, this is THE central point of salvation. Our value is not performance based.,, ie., all the stuff we think we are doing for God. It is what Jesus has done for us and His finished work on the cross from which we have eternal value. Once that foundation is established, our active ministry is a worship for and to Him; and is a blessing all around and for all.

Catholics do not interpret the scriptures the same as the thousands of sects that have spun out of Protestant reformation. The scriptures say "Faith without works is dead. "Just believing is not enough. The devils believe but they're not saved. St. Paul tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

And on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a book which he will find wide open. (13) (It will be said to him): "Read your book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day." (14) Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear another's burden. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). (15) And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allâh/God/Yahweh and be righteous) to those among them who lead a life of luxury. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction (16) And how many generations have We destroyed after Noah! And Sufficient is your Lord as an All-Knower and All-Beholder of the sins of His servants. (17) Whoever desires the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whom We like. Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him Hell, he will burn therein disgraced and rejected, (18) And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it (i.e. righteous deeds ) while he is a believer , then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, (thanked and rewarded by Allâh/God/Yahweh). (19) On - each these as well as those - We bestow from the Bounties of your Lord. And the Bounties of your Lord can never be forbidden. (20) See how We prefer one above another (in this world) and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preference (21) Set not up with Allâh/Yahweh/God any other god, (O man)! , or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire). (22) And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (23) And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." (24) Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. (25) And give to the kinsman his due and to the poor and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift . (26) Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the devils , and the Devil (Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (27) And if you turn away from them (kindred, poor, wayfarer, whom We have ordered you to give their rights, but if you have no money at the time they ask you for it) and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft, kind word . (28) And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty. (29) Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves. (30) And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for them as well as for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. (31) And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is an immoral sin, and an evil way . (32) And do not kill anyone whose killing Allâh/God has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed wrongfully , We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Law of Equality in punishment- or to forgive, or to take blood - money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e he should not kill except the killer). Verily, he is helped (by the divine law) (33) And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! the covenant, will be questioned about. (34) And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end. (35) And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those one will be questioned (by Allâh/Yahweh). (36) And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height. (37) All the bad aspects of these (the above mentioned things) are hateful to your Lord. (38) This is (part) of wisdom which your Lord has revealed to you (O Muhammad ). And set not up with Allâh/God/yahweh any other god lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from God's Mercy). (39)
