Because my wife's boss is from a small town south of Joppa Israel that naturalized here to the US and speaks Hebrew and I asked him about it about a year ago and he said the same thing that I had heard years back. The correct translation is I'm to be what I choose to be. That's how it said and that makes I Am completely irrelevant of what Jesus was saying. In otherwords he was just answering their questions. Consider John 20:23. This is seen in the section you quote (in v6, "Son of Man" refers to a human person, not God. Read Daniel 7 and see how what this Son of Man has is given to him by God, who is distinguished from the Son of Man and He has no need to be given authority by a superior, unlike the Son of Man) but there's also Matthew 9:8, where my understanding of Jesus' authority is affirmed: that Jesus has been given such authority to forgive sins AND to perform miracles by God, not because he just is God.

Jesus himself claimed that he was God. He said that he and the Father are one, and that if you’ve seen him, you’ve also seen the Father. If these things aren’t true, then wouldn’t that make him a false prophet? Also, there are several recorded eyewitness accounts regarding the resurrection of Jesus from the dead after he was crucified. Do you believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead as eyewitness accounts attest to, and if so, then wouldn’t that make him God? If it’s not in the Bible then it’s not a holy scripture. You must be catholic because the catholic worship Mary as an idol. Which the very first commandment specifically states “thou shalt have no other gods before me” take a look at your actions. Jesus is coming soon repent and get baptized.

We believe that Got sent the Bible and the Torah but over the years man changed it, removed things added things. So there was a need to bring the people back to the Original message. Do you know the mind of God and why He does what He does? Everyone wants to tell God how to be God, and how He should show Himself to be God. Many who grew up with Jesus and saw Him perform miracles didn’t believe He was God; they saw Him in the flesh and He was amazed by their disbelief. Some people can see every sign and wonder they want and never have a change of heart. But those who put their faith in Christ without seeing Him are the ones who are truly blessed!

Who created this man who would tell us?
