when i was 10-12 i used to watch it on television and i have neither minded ever on the product nor the brand , now i like this vodka and i drink it. Today when i searched any commercial of this vodka and i found this ad. tht i hav watched many times, i am shocked.
The commercial is made to make you keep watching it, you thinking about it like that means it succeeded. You now might connect this commercial to Smirnoff, and that line of thinking might come to mind again, leaving you to buy more Smirnoff. The purpose might as well be the effect Smirnoff could have on your mind, playing with mystique and humorism. It could also be explained in a similar way to what you asked. Does it make you the devil? Perhaps it awakens the little devil we all have inside?
@eddyisno2 i was drinking 16 pints of beer plus 2 bottles of vodka a day,then there was the heroin ,cocaine and crack and a 60 a day smoking habit, you could say i have an addictive personality .now i`m sober/clean but have £8000 in debts due to on-line poker.
Basically it's telling us that we might have hallucinations when we drink vodka hahahahah (I mean, I'm not a doctor or anything, just my point of view)

Here in the UK, in the Smirnoff advert like most commercials all the people are Black. I dont get why a black population who are less than 5% of the UK are featuerd in 95% of all adverts. Intrestingly nealry 20% are Indian and whilst they do feature some Indian women and where 85% of the Dentist, Pharmacy, Opticians, GPs are always shown as Black, or Asian women. The Indian male is seldom shown. They show a Black male with a white female. a white male is with an Asian female, the Indian male is show sporting a turban,old and infirmed with a thick Indian accent., Very few really dark African women are shown, with thier natural hair, and only light skinned, with straight hair. All the children shown are mixed race, light skin with curly light brown hair. They would never show a black man with the "Wotgowan, bummerclat", a spliff and handcuffs on. I wont buy Smirnoff agian. Russian Standard Vodka. it is from now on.
