That is why I like BTS songs. Before, I didn't listen to hip hop at all, but BTS's rap and the way they do it, their style (vocal+rap) it's amazing for me and it's interesting that it's not only RM, but J-hope and Suga read and sing while rapping as well=)

That scoop he does (is it spelled that way? I speak in Spanish lol) anyway that thing he does at the end with the voice was his idea! You have reacted to V before though, he's the guy who sings Singularity, the baritone of BTS, the one who has the deepest voice in the group.

This song really hits me in the feels every single time. There is so much emotion in it. And knowing the backstory of how Tae wrote it for Jimin only adds to that. Namjoon (stage name RM, formerly Rap Monster) released a new mixtape just yesterday called mono, you should give that a listen too. When 4 o'clock comes on right after mono it really is a tear jerker.

BTS is characterized for being different, they always surprise us with their ability to change their music style, you never know what they're going to release. An example of that is the new mixtape of RM which was released a day ago, check it out. "Seoul", "forever rain " and the 5 more tracks are awesome.

I feel like the way V and rm sings here gives a nice contrast...

I love it when the rap line sings. There's another song where RM's rap is beautifully sung but this is a cover song which he performed in a duet in a competition for a TV show. I have seen people reacting to it and their reactions video are still around. Plse react to this. This one I'm telling you about is, by far, my most favorite duet of RM's. The song was written by V with help from RapMon as he is one of the main producers of BTS... But about the melodic rap towards the end of his phrases, the only thing I have to say about that ist that :that's what you get when a dude with 140iq is rapping (and he is actually above 140 AFAIK)

Since you’ve watched several Jungkook songs and you’ve reacted to a few V songs, I thought you might like to hear them singing together. yeah it's different because V is the one who did this song and he is quite a unic artist in every way wich i like a lot, his voice also can go from high to low and lot like Stigma and singularity his two solos wich are completely different 💟🎆

I think one of the reasons why the vocals tend to sing in that vulnerable tone, is the South Korean culture. For a long time after the Korean War, you were supposed to conceal your emotions and not to show other people how you were really feeling. I could go deep in to the history, but yeah. Because of the atmosfere of hiding, music became one of the ways to express those hidden emotions. The best singers in Korea are supposed to make you cry. Koreans love their ballads and the emotions that the best musicians are able to make to you feel.

I think their language has a big impact on the fact the boys tend to sound more airy while singing, because korean has a lot of airy consonants in the alphabet

You are right most groups tend to be ballad style singers but BTS is suppose to be a hiphop group the singers are more as a support for the rappers. However as the singers gain experience they transform themselves into this all rounder group that sounds great in every genre it really is amazing if you see their evolution as an artist

Tae (V) has a pretty dark but breathy tone. but he has a nice head voice too. his solo song Stigma has some vocal atheletics of very low and very high notes. also i remember everyone freaking out when this song came out because we so rarely got to hear RM sing before this. now we just get spoiled and he is singing way more often including on his brand new mixtape/ep/playlist thingy he just dropped called Mono.

V has a deep soulful voice. Please check out his solo from the wings album, Stigma. Also please check out: "BTS THE RED BULLET DVD LET ME KNOW LIVE" V starts out the song. I also love his voice in "Just one day"; it's an older song. He had orange hair at the time (at least during the time of the MV-making).
