She was sick during this performance. She was advised bythe doctor not to sing as she had not yet recovered from her latest bout of pneumonia,which is killer for a singer, but she didn't want to disappoint the audience.

This is my favourite So hyang performance. She only ever sang this arrangement for Immortal Songs and it's an absolute masterpiece.

Hi coach. Great reaction. I agree about So Hyang's emotive prowess. I'm a grown man that gets emotional whenever I listen to her. I also think her vocal stamina is untouchable. There are several performances where she belts for 5 minutes or longer but her performance of Everyone is a 7 minute masterclass of what she is capable of. She got to you even though she hadn't started the song. I know. I have watched this several times and she enters my heart and soul every time. Toward the end she hits a note that I can feel coming and cannot stop the tears. Truly amazing.

By the way, this performance is confessional in nature in which Sohyang tells her personal story. It's no wonder you feel all the emotion pouring out, especially as the song ends with waves of climactic notes. Hope to see you again. I always enjoy her performances, she puts a whole lot of herself in her singing. The intro reminded me of that movie "Avatar", the one with the blue people. I have heard this song hundreds of times by different singers throughout my lifetime, none come close to this. I hope you are doing better Katriinka, you didn't look uncomfortable in this video. Another small thing, I was watching you to see if you were breathing during this performance, and you stopped a couple times :-). I always enjoy your videos, and this one was no exception. That is so beautiful. She is beautiful. I love her voice. You can tell she was sick while singing this. I hope and pray she recovered from her pneumonia. That voice is too beautiful not to have around.

Great reax as usual Katrinka! Loved how you pointed out her openness, the amount of space she creates really allows her to create a huge amount of resonance with relatively little effort and this song is a perfect example of that technique. I really wish her new videos with Begin Again weren't so heavily copyright protected because her versions of Misty and I Will Always Love You are just wondrous without having any of the vocal fireworks of the typical TV show production.

Para mim, essa foi uma apresentação épica! Acho quase impossível alguém fazer uma versão de You Raise Me Up melhor do que essa da SoHyang. Foi um show fenomenal de interpretação, de técnica vocal, de arranjos (instrumental e vocal) e dinâmica. A atmosfera que foi criada por ela, pelo coral e esses maravilhosos foi algo verdadeiramente angelical. Sinceramente, é até difícil de encontrar as palavras exatas para descrever o que sinto ao ouvir essa apresentação.

I was there in person to witness this phenomenal performance live show!! I 've been her immortal song 2 west life special show. She was just another level!!!!! I was shivering and crying like a little baby.... She is truly outstanding singer and person. I can't describe how phenomenal her live was. It is TOO UNREALISTIC. So hyang always sends shivers down my spine. Every. Time !! I realize that her You tube live video sound quality is shitty!!!! Her live is 1000000000000000000 time better than that!!! This video doesn't even deliver half of what she did up there. I was in a complete shock and mesmerized at the point that I couldn't think of anything else besides her for more than 1year after that night. Honestly, I can 't remember anything but her performance. And She is Too humble and amazing!!! I love more than her ever. I wish she can do World Tour like Beyonce or Adele. I wish u can experience this performance live. You tube audio cannot show her power vocal perfectly, need to watch it LIVE!!! Because of the limitation of stupid televised audio system. They not only cut the huge resonances but sometimes even distort her voice. And in 22.Jul This year, I went to see her begin again korea ep 9. Her mocrophone volume was reduced. I watched it there in live. She was sooooooo tiny and skinny!(150~155cm ish..and 40~43kg?) But her volume was huuuuuuuge!!! She was requested reduced volume it and staffs and producers want to volume balanced with other singers. Her rendition of Misty was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!!

Katrinka... Nice to meet you, i'm just happy with your reaction and your sense of music. I think "only you" can reac, and realize the music intro. It is not only beautiful and cool arrangement. That intro it is like Someone bring love and hope to you. Backing vocal in this song, when intro it's start. I mean, it's start from 2:09, you realized... Backing vocal Key from piano, string, and bass. The melody is climax in 2:15 I guess, you wanna cry. Me too... . .. Yes i playing music. And i always believe, even without word... melody can tell something to you, can touch your heart. Once more, thank you for your reaction to So Hyang. I know she is only a human, but God make her like an angel. :)
