VOICE PLAY - THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL (REEACTION) 

Hope you are well soon. I noticed you loved this! VoicePlay is ready for anything. Geoff, Layne and Earl were in chorus and did the competing thing with other nearby schools. Eli was in one those other schools but they knew each other there. Upon graduation, Geoff, Layne, Earl and Mykal created 4:2:Five in 1997. Scott Porter was their first beatboxer. They toured (check the Halo theme to see the guys when they were incredibly young and see Scott). Scott was there for a few years but left for an acting career. Layne wanted to beatbox, Geoff taught him what he knew. In the meantime, Eli belonged to a couple of rock bands but in 2010, he joined 4:2:Five which became VoicePlay in 2013 or 2014 before they competed in The Sing-Off. A few yrs back Earl left for personal reasons and Eli became the high rock tenor 1. Deejay Young has done several with VoicePlay: Man in the Mirror (MJ), In My Room (Beach Boys), Butter (BTS), Bang! (AJR), Christmas Don't Be Late (the Chipmunk Song).

Voiceplay also did "Man In The Mirror" by MJ featuring DeeJay Young. He's done several videos with them. "Butter", "Bang", "Christmas Don't Be Late/Chipmunk Song", "You're My Best Friend". Geoff and Layne met Eli Jacobson at Universal Studios Orlando when Eli sang in several different rock groups on Main Street. Believe it or not but Eli had shoulder length frizzy black hair then. He joined Voiceplay in 2010. Besides singing Eli does voice acting, lighting and arrangements as well. Eli and his beautiful wife Ashley welcomed their son Asher November 26th last year. He can be seen in Voiceplay videos "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Baby On Board (short)". Voiceplay also released "Classical Chaos" this month. They brought back their Characters (Grundels) from In The Hall of The Mountain King. 12 classics in one chaotic Medley. Geoff Castellucci did "Big Iron" with all his clones this month as well. Friday Pattycake Productions is premiering their new video from the Genshin Impact video game at 2:00pm est. It is an original by them by Genshin Impact video games for their new game.

Eli (the guy you were asking about) is amazingly talented. He has a huge range, and is able to sing the grittiest rock or the cleanest, sweetest pop. Geoff says he can sing anything. Before VoicePlay he was the front man for a rock band that performed in Japan, and speaks fluent Japanese. He also does most of the lighting and some of the arrangements for VoicePlay and does a lot of character voice work. And like everyone in VoicePlay, he is just a lovely person and family man.

I saw your enthusiasm, even though you thought you were n't displaying it. After their last wild and crazy Classical Chaos, Geoff just calmed everything down with this very sexy arrangement. Take care of yourself, we will be here.

In case you’re not aware, VP has done another MJ cover with DeeJay. The last song they covered while J None was still officially part of the group was “Man in the Mirror” featuring DeeJay. It was beautiful. But THIS was perfection!

This entire arrangement and production is silk. It's a total vibe. And they're all looking fine! The feature artist, Deejay, has the MJ chops; he's in the touring production of Hamilton. Please feel better. Hugs.

I'm sorry you're so sick. Please take care of yourself! We'll be here when you're feeling better. ❤ My favorite VP videos with DJ (besides this one) are "Man in the Mirror" and "Bang!" Eli is a beast! He can do it all. Others here have it pretty much covered, but yeah, he's a man of many talents!

No there is nothing they won't try. And do well. :) Well, not so far as I've found. 'They don't always agree on a choice, but objections usually get overruled. They've done MJ before, in Man in The Mirror, when J.None was leaving the group to sing with the navy. DeeJay Young was in that one too. The rock tenor voice belongs to Eli ((say it as Ellie) Jacobson. He's been with the group for years and previously fronted some rock groups, sometimes in Asia I believe. He speaks Japanese, and is a voiceover artist, and does the spoken parts in some videos., such as Sandy Claws in the Oogie Boogie song. And yes, whether by Layne, Geoff, or Eli, their arrangements are always superb. And yes, DeeJay is phenomeal. Feel better soon.

I personally I their cover of Man in the Mirror better. You should really check that out. This is still outstanding but I prefer Man in the Mirror
