He wrote this for his wife who was in the hospital being treated for Leukemia. He calls it his lullaby to help her rest between staff visits. ❤

So beautiful 🥹💗 I feel like this song is about his sweet wife. Made me stop and pray for her healing. She’s had a long standing battle with cancer. May God provide her with supernatural and everlasting healing on this side of glory so he and his wife will testify of as God’s promises fulfilled.

This song made me cry, knowing that his precious wife is fighting cancer, and the words “ Flying Home” “ Stay under the Stars with me”, is so painful/full of love/but hopeful, as well. Beautiful, beautiful, grief/love.

Love him! I can hear New Orleans in his voice, his style, his love…this sound, to me, is reminiscent of blues tunes/artist’s’ arrangements…like a slowed down Earl King or Allen Toussaint. Nice. Thanks for sharing this.
