The combination of Maestro Igor Krutoy and Dimash is just magical. Igor wants to create a complete set of songs just for Dimash’s voice. I am very much looking forward to hearing what they work together on. Dimash is also going to do a concert in Madison Square Gardens this year. @@SingingwithLauren Well the song they did are indeed from Maestro Igor Krutoy but they are not new and he did not wright them for one singer. Some of the songs he did with Dimash he already did before with greath singers like Lara Fabian. But Dimash is also a songwriter so he can and also does make every song his own. Also fun is that i did see him play 8 instruments and that he can sing in 12 languages.
@@giovannigio3764 - True, usually Igor doesn't write songs for one particular singer, but in the case of this song, "Love is Like a Dream", Igor mentioned writing it 25 years ago for Alla (Pugacheva) Borisovna. There is another amazing song this duo did in Moscow - Ascolta la voice or Know (depending on the source). Would really like to hear your analysis. The majority of the song is without lyrics just Dimash “playing” with vocal “acrobatics”. The mood is so strangely mesmerizing.
@@SingingwithLauren Something to note on this song- it was written by Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian and called Vocalise, though people call it Ascolta La Voce because those are the only lyrics. It's pure vocalizing and it's mesmorizing. Dimash added lyrics to the beginning and really created a new song. Both are just phenomenal. I hope you will do Lara at some point, we were robbed of her talent in the US when her label didn't support her intro to America. You're Not From Here is breathtaking, and she wrote it.
The lowest note that was clearly sung was a C2. The others were too much vocal fry to ID. A year or so ago, a number of videos had him at an F2, so he is really working on the lower notes.
People always chose diva dance at bastau because it's the closest version of all to the original which was finished by computer software cause of the impossible runs and accurate high notes... until dimash ofc. I rather prefer diva dance at singer cause he shows off a bit of his bel canto technique control.. it's more noticeable than bastau version. You can tell he's absolute control over his upper body muscle and high notes (i.e. staccato) Before he sings in italian, multitalented.

Thank you for your reaction. But, to me the low notes you heard, are actually a little lower than his normal speaking voice. Dimash is not finished until his arms go up. The belt was about 19 seconds, I believe. Dimash presents us with incredible performances.

I suggest humbly Sinful Passion at Sochi with english subs on, he goes four octaves up same as here but with a different build up. The Love of Tired Swans at Kremlin it's also a great suggestion. Peace!

I know this is very late, but I really think you would be able to appreciate this on a whole new level if you watch the official video on Dimash's channel. This is just a fan video, and you can never see all the expression, emotion, and focus he puts into this performance. From start to finish he is totally in the moment and it is really powerful. In addition, the audio quality is much better in the official version.

At the beggining it's all vocal fry but after 2:23 adds some deep voice. If we can forget for a moment he went four octaves during the whole song, the interpretation was breathtaking. Most of us can't speak a single russian word and yet how he expressed with his voice and body language later on gots me goosebumps. Thanks Lauren!

Such a joy to watch your reaction on this song😙😙😙 The only thing is that the name was not properly translated initially and everyone takes it as "love is like a dream" while in fact the song name is "The love, which is like a dream" or "Dreamlike love" whereby the author of the words compares his existing love to a wonderful dream and he sings "this love which seems to be a dream is in fact real and inspite of the meaning of the dream may it never end". This song is an adoration of the person he loves and the love itself - it is so wonderful like a dream. (I just thought to write this after your expression at 6:55 that his love left him😊 - his love didnt leave him, he just doesn't want it to ever end)
