You have really embraced this music in a true heartfelt way. You get it. I understand the emotion you feel. Spanish language music inspired me to learn Spanish many moons ago because it moved me and I just had to know what the songs were about. Learning the language through music also put me in line culturally. It opened up another world for me and I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I’m partial to Mexican artists but am a fan of so many others as well. I saw Juan Gabriel for the first time in 1979 or 80 at the Million Dollar Theatre in downtown Los Ángeles!

We dearly miss him! His vocal range was impressive! I attended this concert, I was 15 years old. I remember his vocal range would echo in the entire building. It would give me goosebumps every time, the audience would go crazy. I was blessed to attend his concerts many times in El Paso, Texas. I'll never forget the day Juan Gabriel came to Denver and performed at the Denver coliseum, I was only 6 years old, im now 39. Because my uncle built the metal fence around Juan's house in Mexico we got free tickets, and we got to meet him! I grew up with his music echoing in our home everyday, nobody compares to him. I love that you have made videos honoring him, his voice, performance, and translating his lyrics. Because his lyrics were so beautifully written !

Hi Andy, I recently begun to follow you and I absolutly love your personality! In regards to Juan Gabriel, I grew up listening to him. Therefore having so many great memories with him behind them all. It was heartbreaking when he passed...I would dare to say he took a part of me when that marvel of an artist left us 😢. All I ask is that we also take a moment to appreciate, recognize and understand that his timeless music, melodies, and choruses, which we have all come to love and hear him deliver amazing vocals on were ALSO created by him, Juan Gabriel. He didn't sit around with some musician and create the melodies, choruses, and vocals. Juan Gabriel himself was the creator, orchestrator and only mastermind of the every single melody and lyric that we have come to recognize today. Juan Gabriel is single handedly responsible for the unique power, lyric, and orchestration that is Juan Gabriel.

Wasn’t he something, I will forever be his fan. This song was around the mid 80’s . Thank you for appreciating one of the greatest songwriter and singer in Latin America. You should listen to all his songs, most songs were always hits. I went to his concerts and they were always wonderful.
