Love the reaction. Looks like you forgot about a couple of parts when you started laughing 😂. New sub so I'm have to go through your videos, but would love to see you react to more Voiceplay. Moana Medley Oogie Boogie Song Hoist the Colors Valhalla Calling My Mother Told Me
Having seen this previously, have you noticed three of my favourite moments : 1.) When Rachel starts to say she doesn't have money, Eli and J put their hands across her mouth like the eels wrapping around her 2.) When Eli does Scuttle singing, everyone, including Eli, stops singing 3.) At the end, the look Geoff gives J for "stealing" his "sing it with me now" line
Subscribed in anticipation of more VP. Also, since nobody else has addressed this, your cat is SO. PRETTY. The tail floof on the camera just about killed me! ❤
I came back to watch this again, I couldn't help myself. This is one of my very favorites after their Wicked Medley. Geoff is singing considerably lower these days. Check out their latest release, Drunken Sailor. We have been used to Layne's arrangements forcing Geoff down into the basement, but on this one, he did it himself. And he speaks during the outro using his narrative voice. Much lower than what he did here, you will love it!!
After innumerable rewatches of this video,I've been appreciating Rachel's background vocals. Her voice perfectly complements the group and she makes this lovely soundscape with flawless timing and "color". I would also complement her prop work - she makes putting on a bracelet and combing your hair with a fork while singing look easy and it. is. not.
Thanks for listening to my analysis and listening back as it to see what I mean when I say these things. 😊 I might add this video is not live. All the vocal recordings are done in a studio and processed then the video added on top. She's is still phenomenal and her vocals are beautiful. All very skilled.
@@vtstudio173 Do you meet a lot of people who think music videos are live? I would have hoped everyone knew most music videos are recorded and then adjusted with studio magic (not a bad thing).
Hi there from a rather damp UK! Love the reaction, there's a whole lot of VP (and Geoff's 'solo' work) to catch up on - their most recent ones are covers of Seven Nation Army, In The Air Tonight (amazing, and very 80's!) and Creep - the last one arranged by Eli..! Geoff has recently done covers of I See Fire (a sequel to Misty Mountains Cold, with the same 'dwarves' from the Hobbit!), as well as his latest cover of Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues..! 😊BTW, noticed how your voice has changed since the earlier VP reactions - you seem to have lost your British accent now! 😁
Ah my accent changes daily. Usually if I'm angry or worked up (or super excited) it will go back to English. Sometimes it changes mid sentence. 😅 Thanks I haven't seen too many new ones, I'll check those out!
Very insightful analysis / reaction on a group that never fails to amaze! I really enjoyed this and am now subscribed to your channel. Would love to see more reactions to Voiceplay and to Geoff's solo work!
another group you might enjoy is "the bass gang" it is 4 bass singers (and sometimes a guest) doing acapella. they also give a visual representation of most of there voice dubbing-octupoling-how ever many they can do they have released more than 10 songs together (although they have never met in person) I just think you would enjoy it. (Centuries is probably my favorite song from them)
So much like a mini-movie. I love VoicePlay! Have you reacted to VPs Wicked with Rachel and Emoni Wilkins. It's spectacular as is Greatest Showman as well as Phantom of the Opera. We're Good (Dua Lipa) is final audition that Cesar did before becoming a member.
Even if you have seen the video, you can be forthright about it and just call it an analysis. Many other reactors have done it. Nothing wrong with that as long as you say it.
