Wow….I slobbered singing this one back in the days….lots of ugly cry…..one of my favorites…wore out the cassette tape …..still blesses me…Nobody but Jesus…Thanks Vanessa Bell Armstrong…..Lockhart did it Justice…
This is confirmation as I was JUST speaking to someone about God giving me a right mind and a reasonable portion of health and strength as an adult!! God is GREAT!
I'm not a church-goer. I call myself a recovering Catholic😂. When I hear gospel singing and you start testifying, I get a little emotional. When I do attend church at St. Sabina's in Chicago, I might as well be in a Baptist church 😂. Those who know, know😂. The choir starts singing and the band goes insane, I feel lifted, even if I have serious issues with my religion. I've worn your sweatshirt that says "be vocally you". That is such a powerful statement. I walk straighter when I have it on, and people compliment me on it. You are an inspiration Jaron, and you're really good at breaking down these performances.
I absolutely love this ladies voice. She does not hold back on the vocals and how it spiritually touches your soul. RIP to her dad who was apart of the most amazing group ever formed, Commissioned. Then her momma Lisa Page Brooks, OMG!!
Tasha, can SANG…. I was also raised in the church… the older saints would always testified and tell of goodness of the lord. Waking them up closed in their right mind, having the activity of their limbs, having a roof over their heads, food on the table, hedge of protection from all hurt, harm, and danger… We take so many things for granted…thank you lord for all you done for me….🙏🏾🙌🏾
I listen to Mrs. Vanessa Bell Armstrong almost every day. Tasha did this song justice. Hard to follow Mrs. Armstrong, but Tasha did this! I still watch this performance, and it’s going on two years ❤
Big fan of her mother's vocal stylings, which are fairly unique, and it's fun how you can hear them weave in and out of Tasha's approach to this song and in general.
Not sure if you saw my suggestion to analyze this ministration but I’m grateful that you did! THISSSSSS was an AMAZING MINISTRATION!! Glad you broke it down so gracefully as usual!
This was so good Tasha be giving her all every time. You gotta analyze Christina Bell singing "Jesus Will Work it Out" when you get a chance. God Bless
I think it would be so cool if you did a vocal analysis series where you pointed out the old gospel influence in today's singers. You mentioned Vanessa Bell, there was a little Kim Burrel and a little Daryl Colie. It would be cool to hear your take on that.
Hey man you are the 🐐 at this.. spot on every time!! I would love to see you do the Late Reverend James Moore (my all time male favorite gospel artist)
Hi Jaron! I love your analysis'! I was wondering if you could analyze Fix You by BTS (Coldplay cover) on MTV unplugged? I just found this group of artists the other day, and I'm really surprised at how talented they are. Congrats on 400k subscribers as well!
