still to this day, Coko's voice gives me chills. her approach to runs and slides up and down. Tamika still has the cleanest and articulatory voice to me. She's the scott sister that should've went solo. I love that they are giving this another go and Xscape is showing that they can work as a trio. No disrespect to their legacy and material. This was good Jaron. thank you much
SWV stayed on repeat in our house and on the stations here down under back in the 90s and they are still played today! I will never forget the great memories I’ve had hearing their songs. Their voices are so nostalgic. ❤
Imagine Coko and Tamika doing a duet. Their voices are so clear and simple and their vocal gymnastists are perfectly placed and intentional. I'd be here for it
I don’t know if you take requests but your reaction/analysis to Halle x Chloe “Ungodly Hour” at the VMAs would be an amazing video to watch. Their voices are angelic
You used the video I posted, I know from the thumbnail, well I think you did at least lol. I was surprised Sherri’s RU-vid page didn’t post their performances! Both groups killed it but SWV is just on a different level, performance/stage presence wise and vocal harmonies! 😭😍
Xscape performed so amazingly, I'm becoming more of a fan of theirs Kandy gave me chills on understanding and Tamika is blessed with vocal prowess like her sister Latocha and all have strong leads......... But SWV just sends me out of this world! Their arrangement is so ENGAGING ❤
@@kc-jv1rn I would say SWV is one of the best girl group performers, especially of their generation. They just have the star quality and command the stage!
What’s dope about En Vogue is they all share lead vocals and to that point they each have a hit song singing lead!! Usually one member would get the lead and another member would sing the bridge- so each song is basically sung by 2 members! Here are each members biggest hits: Maxine- Never Gonna Get It / Dawn- Giving him Something He can feel & Don’t let go/ Cindy- Hold On / Terry- Don’t Go (which is my jam!!) and the acapella part of Hold On
Hi J, I know this may be odd but since it is so difficult finding voice coaches who are believer I thought of may give this a shot. My pastor shared your videos with me a few months back as he has been mentoring me on leading worship. However, I am looking to enhance my skills vocally and have searched as best as I could on a vocal coach near me. I am in the orange city Florida area and just wanted to see if you happen to be able to recommend anyone. I know this is a long shot but I had to try. If you don’t no worries thank you for even responding. Love your videos so insightful
Jaron...Can you do Natalie Cole and Whitney Houston's full verison of Bridge Over Troubled Waters?Hope you do it one day it would be a honor.Love ya videos
she actually has the best range most them the way she can sit in the lower register & play with notes & then she goes to high in seconds. Her voice is deep & distinctive .
@@jizzleonline I was talking to the vocal coach, no shade! I mean I’m no Susan Boyle but it’s like Kandi has never been a great vocalist to me, she can write a good song but yeah..
I think people joke about her singing because some don't like her but she has a distinctive voice like alot of singers from back in the day.. Her voice isn't like these singers today. Because they all sound alike. People used to talk about Tina Turner and I feel Kandi comes more close to sounding like Tina. She won Masked Singer singing Tina Turner. Kandi has a great voice. The way she comes in harmonizing then go low to high back low then into harmony.... that takes skills. Her voice is like a musical instrument. Plus her voice gives Xscape their sound, you notice when she's not there.
They seem to have picked parts of the songs to highlight Tamika. Probably to show people that they are good without Tocha. They sang for under 2 minutes. Because in person everyone has a lead.
According to Tamika Scott, JD had Kandi sounding similar to T-Boz of TLC. Kandi’s role in Xscape was fashioned after T-Boz’s role in TLC. TLC came out before Xscape.
All these reviews and only two Mariah reviews, really just one b cus one of them was with Whitney . Aw Man U gotta do more of her, that’s what you missing for me 😭😭😭 she’s has 100s of amazing performances you could do a vocal analysis on!
I can’t get through 2 minutes of his videos the stops are so annoying, and he annt even sayin nothing that any singer cant hear. So annoying unsubscribing
@Flashback543 - Well…thanks for doing us all such a grand favor ✌️ With yo arrogant asK 🤭 @Jaron thank you sir for consistently sowing and stewarding your gift SO well as an educator, a coach, a director, a writer, and one heck of a phenomenal quartet singer as well as lead 🙏 We see you, we hear you, we receive you, we enjoy you and love you big time ❤ Cheers 🥂
