How any Australian could vote yes is beyond belief. The voice goes against everything that makes Australia great. We are a multicultural, democratic society. Everyone is treated fairly & equally. I agreee that it was was very stupid of Peter Dutton saying about another referendum. Australia needs lower petrol cost, lower electricity, attracting more tourism, increase productivty to export to other country. We do not need this crap referendum. Australia is running out of money and should focus on earning money.

There are no provisions in the change/addition to the Constitution that talks about designated seats. Agreed, given the Voice is part of a six stage strategy, the Voice itself is stage 5 and stage 6 is Makarrata. The aims are clearly stated "A TREATY could include a proper say in decision making, the establishment of a TRUTH commission, REPARATIONS, a financial settlement (such as seeking a PERCENTAGE OF GDP), the resolution of land, water and resources issues, RECOGNITION OF AUTHORITY and CUSTOMARY LAW" (from page 19 of a 26 page document released under FOI from the National Indigenous Australian Agency, page 1 is titled Uluru statement from the heart [centre justified]) "Makarrata is the culmination of our agenda" from the Uluru Statement from the Heart (page 1). So its very clear not only is the Voice an assault on democratic principles, not only does it introduce race/cultural identity into the constitution, its part of an agenda that the Prime Minister himself promotes VOICE - TREATY - TRUTH. The Voice and the strategy have been well understood and documented in detail for a number of years. So the suggestion the Voice is simply about recognition is not true. The Voice is part of a well articulated road map. The people of Australia have the right to understand that in the full. Moreover, this is a referendum not an election campaign and the constitution in the pre-eminent document in the country sitting above Parliament, Executive Government and Judiciary.
The voice doesn't have ANY of the things you have stated put forward. The referendum question is 92 words long, NOT 26 pages. You just want to scaremonger because there is no real reason to vote no. You are selectively blind to the problems first nations peoples face, who are massively over-represented in every bad thing that can happen to a person in Australia. They simply want a say in fixing problems that affect them directly, problems that were forced upon them when they were disenfranchised and shoved to the fringes of a society they didn't want and didn't need. The Aboriginals are grateful to Australians who sacrificed their lives and subsequently stopped the Imperial Japanese war machine from invading Australia during the 2nd World war. Why vote for the voice against the very people who helped save Australia. 346 million is being spent on this useless voice when people are struggling with their mortgages or cannot get a mortgage especially the Young. I have to remind Australians that many Aboriginals served in the forces in war they show how together we were don't let the love they felt and their service be for nothing. In NZ they are making a ruling in which Medical Care priority will be given on the basis of ethnicity..what that means is if a normal white male shows up in emergency with a severe chest pain and an aboriginal shows up with a mild sore throat all medical attention will be given to Aboriginal, the other one with serious issue will be totally ignored ..and that applies to public as well as private hospitals so if somebody thinks I am Rich,I can save myself by buying private Health Insurance, you are wrong..

The figures are based on the 2017 Indigenous Expenditure Report produced by the Productivity Commission. Where has all this money gone, because it definitely has not improved the lives of Aboriginals? This referendum seeks to give power to indigenous Australians, but we all know it wont work. Australia has become divided and lost a lot of what made our country great. The song “ I am Australian” has been a classic for generations the wording there is that “we come from all the lands on Earth and we sing with ONE voice” not special voices for certain people groups. Money is the root of this thing I’m sure of it and there trying to sell it using guilt by association as a weapon.
