The big problem is fans expect that this organization prioritizes building the biggest, baddest team. Nope. It’s about Cashman’s ego, service time, and Hal saving on that AAV. That’s it.

@@deadlystylzcal2913 That's the problem. George made decisions on his own. If Stick Michael were the G.M I wouldn't mind. Hal doesn't run the team, Cashman is like the owner. I believe he married into the family around the time he took over. I am not 100% sure but he has something on the Stienbrenners. Boone is a mistake as well. He's never gotten as far as that 2017 team. The Yankees win in spite of these two clowns, not because of them. And how long are they going to wait to address the issues via trade? The afternoon of the 31st? I'm hoping they can beat Frankie f*cking Montas today but him shuttng them down would surprise nobody. Sure there's been injuries but how does a team go from so consistently winning to this? That Holmes blown save was huge. Holmes melted down against the Reds two years ago and for the whole second half. Two years later he's still here blowing gamr and when he doesn't he always makes us sweat. Cashman doesn't admit mistakes and correct them, he dpubles down and believes they will prove him right eventually.

Just a reminder. Cashman is considered the best GM in baseball by many respected names inside of baseball. The fans hatred of him generally stems from a lack of understanding of what it takes to rum a franchise. Acquiring talent, developing talent, paying talent, coaching, farm system, scouting, and the economics and risk management. To fans, it's the Yankees aren't doing as well as I think they should be so fire everybody.

Stanton has been gone a month and no one is even close to having 10 HRs. We need Stanton back, there’s no way we’re not missing a dude on pace to hit 30 HRs. His worth is being shown as we speak.

I totally agree with you Derek! And thank you for your rant yesterday. I really needed a voice to get my message across. ;) I was pissed in the first inning when I saw the lineup. And the double plays in clutch situations did not help my mood at all. Like your Simpson character says: IT STINKS!

Being my 47th season following NYY, I've become numb and disconnected from it. The 2024 squad went from one with expectations to win 85, then 90, ... 95, ... 100, ... 105,... 110, (and were on a trajectory to rival 1998). Then echos of 2022 set in. It's back to probably a 90-win Wild Card team, and if Ninja Cash has a good month perhaps revive to 95, but another wasted July and we could be in the zone of watching another limp home of 82 or 83 wins. And would Soto sign up for 12+ years of that?!

If they can't win a salvage game at home on the 4th against a mediocre Red steam, then they have no heart and will go nowhere (Judge or no Judge). The team is weak and cannot pull themselves out of these colelctive slumps. You can see this from the body language, Rodon's antics, and the team CONSTANTLY hitting into DP's and striking out with men on base. Something about the bases being loaded and the players play mind games with themselves and tense up and just have bad at bats. They fold under pressure. They have proven to be world beaters when they are confident, but how this group goes from winners to losers in the blink of an eye and can't recover is what coaches need to figure out.

Look there are many things wrong with the Yankee organization. The biggest is Cashman, then Hal for keeping that loser as GM. However keep in mind, as long as the "Golden Boy" keeps hitting homeruns, the seats at YS are filled, and his Merch is selling, Hal will grin and bare it. Wait until Judge stops hitting homeruns like he will any day now and you will see what this team is really all about.

@@charlesciminera5881 One of the best teams we have had was in 2009. How did Cashman put that team together? He bought Sabathia, Teixeira, AJ Burnett, and we had Jeter a home grown found by scouts, and Mo who was a failed starter. Two of the best Yankees of all time were not Cashmans and the rest he bought with Hals money. The guy is a bum, he has to go or we win zero World Series until he does.

Tough stretch as their depth is being tested with JD being injured in the minors. Perhaps they will get better results allowing Wells and Rice to play consistently regardless if a left hander pitcher is pitching. 3B and DH is a disaster. Let’s see what happens. There is still a lot a baseball to play.

It’s the same now as it has always been Boone is fine when the team is winning but as soon as they hit a bump he struggles to turn them around and don’t even get me started on the pitching.

Solution to our biggest problem: When we have runners on base, we need to lift the ball into OF (remember Wade Boggs brilliance?), steal a base, hit & run, or sacrifice bunt/bunt for a hit (depending on hitters speed). Four or five DB/game is devastating! It's time to use your brains, put the team first, and execute winning MLB strategies! WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE YANKEES! 😃😃😃

The Yankees has to eliminate the practice of signing player’s dismissed by other teams. Remove Furguson from the team and as you said give the opportunity to young players from the minors. I consider that Aaron Boone has to be a more active manager including having more frecuent and prolonged meeting and working sessions either the coaching staff looking for alternative on the strategies at the field. Emphasis should be given to pitchers and catchers pitching selection for batters as the game moves on. Looks to me that opposing batters already pictured their actual pitching secuency.

It’s baffling! As a sport entertainment business.. If you DFA/Trade all those players not cutting it (DJ, JD, GT, etc) forget the money it’s irrelevant.. why because if you replace them with the right players not another trade of, of same performance, but younger players (w/ MLB eta of your prospect pipeline) your keeping people in the stadium with = 💰 If they keep running the same type of players 1. You lose idk like couple % of 💰less views for Yes Network = less 💰 and in a baseball that’s call 3rd or 4th It feels like they are trying to invent or reinvent something that isn’t broken our just over doing it. Like trying to out smart when it’s been 6+ yrs (insanity) (what am I referring idk analytics, vibes, scouting) 🤷🏽‍♂️

Unfortunately if they are lucky they will finish in 2nd place. Not bad for a 300 million dollar payroll. Why would Boone play a washed up player and keep Rice on the bench. Also, bring up Jones and let him figure it out. I know he strikes out a lot, but he could spark something up. Also, bench Torres and play Cabrera. Don’t get your hopes up hopefully they could deter the Sox for a wild card.

JD Davis and Jahmai Jones should be off this team. DJ should be a late inning replacement. Bring up Augustin Ramirez. Rice, Soto, Judge, Ramirez, Verdugo, Torres, Cabrera, Wells, Volpe. Rice and Cabrera should play everyday.

Yankee fans are both the best and worst in mlb. Relax people this is a great team but not the only great team out there. Guys get hurt or slump etc. Cashman has to answer to the owner and can only spend x amount of money before being reigned in. Boone while not the best manager is not out there hitting. The World Series win is never a guarantee.
