One of my favourite Voiceplay videos is called Road Trip. It’s hilarious and absolute genius! 🤣🤣 NB - you won’t see J None in that video coz he replaced a guy called Tony a couple of years ago. It’s Tony you will see in the Road Trip video coz it’s one of the older ones.
Voiceplay did three somewhat related videos starting with Trapped: Billie Eilish in three minutes, followed by Panic! in four minutes: Parts 1 and 2. The last two are from mashups of Panic at the Disco. Very creative.
I'm a Home Fry, but Like Voiceplay also, Love my bass guys and Geoff has it with those lower than low notes. The beatboxer is mad talented also, and I love their humor which they add to most of their videos.
I started out a Pentatonix fan. Then I recently found groups like Home Free and Voice Play. I'm so upset I was missing out all this time. I don't believe in choosing. Just love them all.
Geoff (the bass) does a lot of their arranging as well. He is a dreamboat! Check out their Oogie Boogie cover and their Panic In 4 Minutes (part 1 and 2).
Pentatonix, Home Free, VoicePlay, Peter Hollens, Julia Westlin, or 2Cellos you can't go wrong. If you like the Beattles and other bands from that era check out MonaLisa Twins. They have a lot of covers from that era and are creating their own music with that sound, style.
Geoff Castellucci is their bass and he has his own RU-vid channel. Just last week he put out a version of Bare Necessities from Jungle Book where he sang ALL parts! This man’s range is out of this world!
Some of the more fun videos VoicePlay does includes their ACA Top 10 series. Some of my favorites from that list include 80's Cartoon themes, Sitcom themes, and Disney villains.
Can we just appreciate how perfect Earl's voice is for the Jackson 5 and The 4 Seasons? He's the ultimate high tenor. Everyone killed it but I feel like this was one where Earl really shined. Queen in 5 mins was another one too.
Your reaction at the end was so great. XD For some other great VoicePlay vids, I'd recommend "Warriors" for sure. Possibly the most epic music video ever, and I have the feeling you're going to be blown away by these guys again. I mean, the first time _I_ watched it, my jaw was on the floor. There's also "Sh-Boom," which has a very happy feel to it, and a sort of trilogy of Billie Eilish and Panic! At the Disco mashups, which have been mentioned by other commentors. They have an ongoing story, and I know you really appreciate their storytelling.
Curiosity question, as I know you know Pentatonix (PTX) well: have you ever seen/heard their cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody"? Or "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" (their 2nd Grammy winner)? Both are with Avi and both are incredible!! Please react to them if you haven't heard them yet. Also, Voiceplay did a collab with Home Free called "Hillbillies Vs. Zombies". It's hilarious and the dueling basses....omg....definitely worth it to check out.
Hey Brad Steele I'm really loving your reaction content so far. You should listen to Home Free singing Auld Lang Syne. Another good one would be Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Rhinehart covering Creep by Radiohead. Take care and stay safe.
Maybe you could take a look at Jahmene Douglas who first appeared on Britain's Got Talent singing At Last, the Etta James classic. He's amazing and has done a lot of recordings since.
Lovin' your reactions Brad and your message at the end! (+1 for HSM). If I had to make a suggestion for what to react to next with Voiceplay my vote goes to "Can't Help Falling In Love" I have been playing it on loop for the past two days and in my car rides too. Absolutely love it! Hope you do too! Other than Voiceplay I'd recommend Dimash, he's been pretty popular lately in the reactor's crowd. The complete opposite of Geoff if you pick up what I'm throwing down. Looking forward to more reactions and more videos! And as always, I hope the day treats you well!
Just discovered you... love your reaction! I too am a Home Free fan like Belinda G below, , and love VP too... You definitely had me when you showed your great musical taste when you said the Beatles were your favorite group! Would love to hear you react to Home Free... and Citizen Queen an all girl acapella group. New sub here! Thanks!
VoicePlay, even with some personnel turnover, is really coming on strong during this "quarantine" period (studio time). As Ben Folds once quipped, "I'm feeling some bass in my butt."
I knew 10 of them and one really shouldn't count because it was in a really old movie that my mom made me watch when I was a little girl and it only played part of it but enough that I knew it when I heard it today
You loved this, you will also really like an all-female 5 piece acapella group called Citizen Queen, put together by PTX’s own Scott Hoying (and Ben Bram and Shams Ahmed). I would love to see you watch their Evolution of Girl Groups 🥰😍💜💛💜💛
if you love the bass, you should also react to another A Capella group called Home Free, their bass is mindblowing! (don't destroy me for suggesting someone else, okay? xD I'm a voice player, home frie and pentaholic and I love them equally! xD)
3:52 - By far my favorite reaction to Geoff's voice. I had the same slack jawed expression the first time I heard him. Be sure to check out Oogie Boogie. They absolutely nail it!
Please react to one of their Aca Top 10 videos! They did a trilogy series with a Billie Eilish medley, then parts 1+2 of their Panic! At The Disco medley. ❤❤❤
@@marlahudgins7038 no worries, and lucky!! If I had the money there are so many people I would love to be patreons for. Just a few dollars every month but it would be so cool
I'm not a huge fan of female a cappella groups because of their lack of bass. Then I discovered Citizen Queen. Please give a female group a shot: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IbfJivZm3Xo.html
