Another reason I don't like what happened to them during the Sing Off. Requiring them to add a female lead was setting them up for failure. No wonder they have chosen complete independence and complete creative control!
I couldn't agree more. These shows are pland out by the judges who tell them what to sing. They already have their favorite to win & make sure it happens.
Thanks for your reaction! Yes I thought they were off in the beginning with harmony and timing but it did get better. I really think they would have done much better if Rachel was with them as they had planned-- they just don't connect with Honey as well as she is the dominant lead with Voice Play as her back up singers. You probably noticed that one of the groups competing was "Ten" and their singer, Emoni Wilkins, ended up singing with Voice Play on the 'Sing Off' tour after Honey finished with the competition. Emoni was much better with Voice Play and became good friends with Voice Play since that tour. Emoni has been featured in a few Voice Play covers and has also been an actress in a few episodes of PattyCake Productions 'Villain's Lair'.
This is new to me, the song anyway. They seemed to be very comfortable with it and have fun, love the change up mid way, seemed to me to get their footing. As always thank you for the video and commentary
I don't know where they dug her up from but she was horrible. She ruined any chance for them to move ahead. Of course it was already preplanned by the judges for them to fail.
