Mr. Librarian is the type of RU-vidr that will make 3 different seasons playing the same game and somehow still make it enjoyable and fun to watch. Honestly, you could make another 3 seasons of Voices of The Void and I would watch all three of them like it's the first time I'm hearing about the game. I don't know how you manage to do that but I love it. Your content is incredible and it has an even more incredible rewatchability value.
Have you ever heard of a "ding-dong ditch"? A friend knocking in the night need not be left in the cold. Look again by the threshold - lest the roaches reach your door first. Should you find naught; come ask again here, and all will be revealed.
1:20:00 Were going to want to leave the atv outside during the day from now on *Walks away and comes back* *Double take* Were going to want to leave the atv outside during the day from now on
Just wait, in a few weeks the community is going to figure out an entire ritual to preform at the cabin in the fenced off area, complete with choreography and staying there for 3 irl days, all for a plush
Doubt it's a "spoiler", but that cough is from Kel, it's a sign you've been smoking too much or you've been around radiation too much. I doubt it's anywhere near enough to matter yet, but it's the game's "cancer" mechanic, the more you're around that kind of stuff, the more it damages your max health, and the meds restore that. 100% sure it's barely affecting you at this point, probably some imperceptible debuff.
Yeah, I've gotten to a point where Dr.Kel coughs like every fifteen real life minutes, but I haven't noticed it messing with my health that much... yet.
You know what this game needs? Motion activated trail cameras. Even if certain critters were smart enough to evade or disable them, they would add a lot.
You can actually clean the sink, toilet and shower in the bathroom. All of them take a while but its worth it. (you can fill the bucket using the sink to make this easier) Also you can use to shovel to convert garbage to small trash for crafting or selling without trash bags I removed the cremator tip because you know about it already. And you will figure out how to use it if you try. SO, a different tip: You should buy a thermometer, you don't want to be sick, right?
25 points each for the sink and toilet, but nothing for the shower..? They should make it so you can repair the shower with a toolbox. Maybe it could regen stamina at a faster rate than sleeping, just without the time boost? Also, the toilet gets dirtier every time you use it. Watch out for that, I guess.
Uh.. I've played this game for years and haven't heard that one yet. Talk about goosebumps. Probably not as bad as having a "friendly" deer inside your base while you're outside looking in.
Tip: you can break the steel beds cluttering your room Edit:you can also clean the toilet, the sink and the shower it gives you points. Two paper bits a bottle of gas Craft to get a weapon(empty beer botle clic with gas can)
"I know I don't pay much attention to you, but I'm always eager to blame you when something goes wrong." -Management This is literally what it's like to be a security officer.
I say hell yeah to turning off fall damage. It's funny to have INSANE falls without dying, perfectly fits the blend of comedy and horror this game has. You can die by *insert scary shit here,* you need to eat n' sleep like normal humans so you can function and (in some cases) not see freaky shit... but you can jump off of a wholeass radio tower without so much as a bruise lmao. It's hilarious.
@@sarahoquinn3910 I didn't realize it for a bit myself lol. I'm surprised by how much can be toggled off, no complaining though. 'Tis thoughtful to have some more annoying or less fun stuff able to be turned on and off.
I had a really weird event happen in this game, subtle but creepy, that I can't find a single mention of it anywhere. I don't want to spoil it, so I'll just say that it only happens at night. Keep watching the skies. That's amore.
I can't wait for an update to the main character animation. The amount of time I got jumpscared by my ouw shadow T-posing... And as a personal thing, I wouldn't mind more characters.
I just had an idea! I haven't watched the rest of the episode, but regarding what you said at around @16:08 . Why not make a video specifically for the big TV in the breakroom that is a slideshow of all the fanart that you get for this series? That way you don't run out of space on the walls and you will have a specific use for the bigger TV!
Try breaking the boxes in the basement you can put the burnable items in the crematory/furniture to make fuel put a fuel canister on the side to collect it
Oh, I forgot to mention before, but if you 'Use' our friends toy ship, it will start floating around. I love it. And you can actually select an item on your inventory and use your number keys to store or drop them. If you want to store your garbage bags, for example, select them and then hold down '1'. It makes storing things so much easier.
Two new felines you must find. Blue and green, keep in mind. The first a familiar friend, far from her zone. The other, a being from another world, and in more ways than one. Find them, make them one of your own, do not stop the search until it is done.
Idk if it's been posted yet but that angelic sounding black hole song is actually the very last song of "The Caretaker's" "Everywhere at the End of Time" project. It symbolises a dying persons very last moment of clarity just before the end and it's genuinely one of the most haunting pieces of music I've ever listened to. So in that way it actually fits VotV surprisingly well. Silly and weird it may be, it too can feel hauntingly beautiful a lot of times
@@LimeSlimeee I sadly don't know the original song either. But the Caretaker's one is called "Places in the world begin to fade away" Edit: After some research, it turns out to be a part of J.S. Bach's "Lukas Passion"
Hi Librarian! Just letting you know that you can use the shovel on trash piles to turn them into varying pieces of scrap. The shovel can still be found at Stonehenge! Also, try cleaning your toilet and sink. And shower. :)
1:23:44 This is what isolation craziness looks like, not overtly violent or malicious, just extremely queer behavior that if you tried to tell somebody about, you would get committed. I am loving this series Librarian! Going to check out the other seasons too!
Watching this during a thunderstorm hits differently. Also, that black hole was something else. It sounded so musical and beautiful almost but every now and then there was this almost violent interjection like some things were fighting, like there was a duel going on. Love this series so much!
The metal detector is a really good item to have to spice up walks to satellites or transformers, you can find some real interesting things buried around. Recently did some testing to see the values on some items i've dug up, large truffles are 225 points each if you're lucky enough to bag them. can also find a lot of utility items like full batteries or gas cans if you're lucky, and even the near worthless scrap you pick up can now be used in place of bricks with the wall builder in case you want to make something out of sheet metal or tarp (specifically the crafted scrap items i.e. plastic/wood/metal/etc scrap).
So, you know Kerfur. Cool creature, can be made better. The thing is, you SHOULD upgrade it. But, you should also get a normal one. Why? Good question. You'll find out. 1 Omega, 1 Regular.
I remember in the first season you once got a signal that had that humanoid cat alien thing so it may boost the gratitude of the ones who set up camp if you show them as it may be the government they ran from and they may think it is you trying to give them a warning. Edit: also try giving the model of their ships maybe give you more gratitude?
The pixel reflecting looked kinda like an sos signal Edit : What if the glyph on the creepy cabin correspond to all the glyphs in other areas (transformers and possible base) where there are 4or5 blood spots there are 3or4 glyphs so each glyph could mean someone who was sacrificed in those areas :Ps. sorry if this don’t make sense
The small pool by the lake between Oscar and Tango will pull you down, even if you have close to nothing on you, I happened upon that very early in my current playthrough and it drowned me, with just a few MREs, the ATV Key, the notebook and my report sheet on me
1:03:56 Why is the one thing an Enigma, In my definition, The Whole Game that of itself is an Enigma. 1:04:40 I think We discovered the Origins of The Voynich Manuscripts.
Actually nevermind the other comment, I do have a Riddle, though a few of people have just told you about it: Once upon a time, two siblings were lost , in a Wood much like this one. A witch they defeated, and in the same way, you may just defeat the strange wooden figures who lurk in your home. And in doing so, you may just be able to fill up a Can so your that Chariot may drive.
you don't always have to buy fuel you can just use the coal from crates (or any flammable items) and burn them in the basement incinerator and it will get directly turned into fuel that you can directly fill the canisters with.
once again just sitting here absolutely lost in the comfy creepy vibes and just enjoying his voice as i do my things amazing work and amazing season so far! oh also use frenchie for omega kerfurs model when you get the chance
I've done an absurd amount of digging and I can only make a theory that the "code" at 1:05:13 is supposed to be a ripped paragraph from some sort of heroic story involving the main character, Hesæ, going to a location(?) at a specific time(?) (maybe with an object/objective). Then again, most of this was simply because the special characters were mostly used in Romantic languages for such folklore-stories and it could totaly mean a different thing- or simply nothing at all.
Yesterday i was wondering when the next episode of votv would come out and i concludet, based on the prior upload dates, that it should be today and now here it is! (And now here i am as well) Yippee!!!
Just thought of a good event scare for the game, imagine after waking up, all the radar dishs are facing you and tracking you where you go... and pinging them would leave a message saying "Why..." instead of the normal ping results.
when is the next episode coming out? this is really getting good, the game seems to have a lot more then it used to, and it already had a lot to begin with
Someone already pointed it out in a comment, but I think from 49:00 to 54:00 is a song, then pulled from the 6 and a half hour long project by Leyland Kirby (The Caretaker) capturing the essence of someone suffering dementia, actually, it's a project showing The Caretaker themself as an alias and character suffering from it and passing. The song that played is the last one in the project, sitting at 21 minutes long total, most of it with just empty, blank static, with only 5 minutes of a song. "Place In the World Fades Away", it's a heartbreaking end to a distressing album but all the same a beautiful musical production that both comforts and disturbs all in one go. It's hauntingly beautiful. For those that haven't heard it and want to, the album's name is Everywhere At The End of Time. It's a long listen, but I feel it's one of those things that leave you feeling different and with a different outlook on life afterwards. Happy listening, nerds 😊
@@yeah8598 Right!! I'd heard something about the original, I heard for a while that it was hard to find until someone was able to pinpoint the language and then search for churches, pretty sure they eventually found the original, but I don't know if it's on YT or not, haven't searched for it
fun fact you in deed can get cancer or something like that so when you plan to make an omega kerfus buy the rad suit very helpful also love the videos keep up the good work
that cough you heard was actually your own player's cough. remember the cancer meds? and the radiation? edit: oh and smoking has something to do with it, you can buy a thermometer to check your health, and if your max health is low and/or lowering, you might have something to worry about.
Hey librarian! It's very unlikely you'll ever see this but I know about this game called the utility room. It's a vr game about exploring the backrooms of the universe and it also has some really, really big creatures. I think the mood of the game also fits well with this channels creepy and comfy vibe. Maybe u could consider playing it :)
If you use the hook you should right click after using it so you dont accidently hook onto walls or objects its more convieniet than to make a half hook.
Oh idk if anyones mentioned this but under the right conditions actual enemies can spawn which you are genuinely supposed to kill. Like for example something has chance to randomly spawn (These things can actually spawn multiple times in your playthrough from what I heard) after you get a kerfur. So ya'know in the worst case scenario you may wanna have a few weapons on standby. Not trying to spoil the fun I'm genuinely saying you might just get jumped at some point like genuinely.
