A Narrative Poem in Eight Chapters by Charles Bryant Read & Produced by the Author This is a somewhat long poem (around 4,500 lines of blank verse) of which this is the first chapter. I will be adding other chapters in due course.
As a master wordsmith, and with your own voice, you forged a time machine that captured me and carried me to another time, another place, focusing my attention through to the end.
I have no doubt that you are aware kind sir' ! Music and poetry have alway's been a part of my life as well and I'm grateful that I might refer to your channel to feed the muse Charles sir' !
Charles, I also wish to relate with the deepest sense of respect , that I in no way would imply that what you are saying here is somehow mundane , no way , it's all very brilliant !!!
Charles, Only after a few seconds do I come to rest upon the conclusion that somehow with this poem it is by the sheer power of the spoken word as recorded by the sound your voice , or the sound of you speaking does somehow take on a life of it's own ? You leave me to ponder that perhaps it's more than enough to hear you speak without actually listening to what you are saying as if the words have a unknown element unto themselves ? So captivating is your delivery sir' !
