Sir is it correct that for mix having high air voids such as open graded friction course bulk density should not be calculated by conventional method in which we dip compacted samples in water and take 3 weight ,air weight ,SSD waight and submerged weight....if yes when by what method we should calculate bulk density of compacted mix have high interconnected air voids ( like air voids 22%)

In the case of high air voids mix, the bulk density is estimated by geometris parameters of the specimen. Take height and diameter at 3-4 places and find the volume of the specimen. See ASTM D3203 - 17.

Yes, you can if you know the effective binder content. The bitumen absorbed can be taken as half of the water absorption value of aggregates.

@@neelpatel1333 Difficult to write equation here. But you can refer Equation 5.14 of MS 2, 7th edition. It is simple.

@@SatishIITR sir,as per 5.14 of MS-2 to find GMM we need Gse, and to find Gse (eq.11 of MS-2)we need GMM,then how to calculate any of two quantity if both are unknown

CRM is also a type of base or subbase material like WMM or WBM. It is given in Section 407 of MoRTH Specifications 2013. Its construction procedure and grading of material are different from those of WMM or WBM.

@@kkg3085 I do not know whether this type of layer is still in use or not. These specifications were made in 2013 and there have been lot many changes since then. Iska use shayad ab nahi hota hai.
