Wow what a great looking game, I sure do hope it doesn’t get compared to supposedly the ONLY Metroidvanias to exist literally just because it’s in the same genre and treated Ike a replacement/clone of them!
Ok I generally agree with most metroidvania games, but you can't look at the visuals, the charm system in this game and the gameplay and ambience and say that they're not incredibly similar. Perhaps TOO similar? Even the character shading and motifs seem directly linked. Goofy/whacky characters to contrast the dark story etc etc. I am not complaining, but there is grounds to compare this particular one to Hollow Knight, easily.
Honestly this one actually looks unique. So many hollow knight copies out there by now, I actually think this one has a lot of unique qualities that can differentiate it if it can deliver a quality experience.
Excited to play this one. Enjoyed the demo, found the controls weren't totally intuitive - but the exploration, movement and upgrades were fun. It left me wanting to play more. Will definately scratch that HK itch while awaiting Silksong.
I've been interested about this Voidwrought because i'm a BIG FAN of a 2D Metroidvania platformers, this is a World of Cursed Horrors and defienitily LOVE the art style this game would be nice for us when we're waiting for Silksong: Happy Halloween gamers! 👻😈
@@CompleteProducer84 don't know if it's lower quality. didn't play it yet. though being similar to hollow knight should be seen as a good thing in my opinion.
@@callmeliam9948 I wouldn't say so. They have similarities, but Hollow Knight uses way less color. Most of the game feels like it's black, white and blue. The character designs also look more minimalistic than Voidwrought's. Not saying one's good, the other's bad, just different.
Game developers are now having to just put ‘Nintendo’ on their release platforms because Nintendo refuses to speak up. We do not want to hear about ANYTHING until the reveal trailer. You’re doing damage to these game trailers you’re pumping out every day as people are waiting. Taking no notice of the games being promoted.
