Voilamart 1000w rear wheel conversion kit review. Don't buy. Video 1 of 3. Warranty is a joke. 

I don't understand why Voilamart doesn't take care of this. I have one of their 1000w 48v front wheel kits on my bike and it is over a year old, working great. It will haul my 290 lbs at 28 mph just fine. I found it odd that you had no instructions for the SW-900 display. I have the same one and the set-up instructions were in the box with the display. The only thing I have had to do is replace the tire that came with the kit. Otherwise it's been a great conversion. Come on Voilamart, be a reputable company and get this customer happy.

Bummer, mines been going for over 1.5years and never missed a beat. Very reliable and fast and deathly quiet! ALWAYS invest mostly in the battery, $100 sounds way too cheap to me, it must have an issue.

Updated versions of ebikelings kit come with a pas sensor you just pull apart and then attach behind the crank arms which is way easier then having to pull it off.

Update. I talked to two different people at Ebay. One prior to this video and the person said they were opening a case and I would receive an email within 24 to 48 hours. I never received this email, so I had Ebay call me back. Unfortunately, the only way I have discovered to contact Ebay is to have them call you and it's quite a process to find that link. So, during the second call, this person advised Ebay only offers a refund within 30 days of purchase. I didn't even have the wheel unboxed within the first 30 days since I didn't have a battery yet. This policy is useless and the first person I spoke with at Ebay obviously lied to me about opening a case. However, the second person advise me of one last action I can take which I will wait till this coming Monday to do if I don't hear back from the seller. I can report the seller to Ebay which I will do. I have a perfect 100% score on Ebay and seller only has a 96.6% rating. I am hoping this will have some effect in the end. I will keep you updated.

Since getting into e bikes back in February 2022, the Voilmart kits videos here were mostly bad. There was no way I was going to buy these and glad I stayed away . With this one of late, its still bad. Way too many issues of buyers not having a good experience. Voilmart suks the big d almighty !

The main thing is that they don't honor their warranty and I was within the warranty period when it started malfunctioning. When I said I ride alot, I said it too fast but I ride 800 to 1000 miles a year not 800,000.

Hi. I've just bought a voilamart 1000w kit from ebay. I'm in Scotland. I am experiencing the same issues straight away on my first ride. The motor cuts out & cuts back in constantly. I'm getting no joy from the seller. They have replied but not too helpful.

This is why I bought a $125 2 stroke motorized bike kit instead. Now that I have some experience, with some port work & a few part upgrades. I can build a more powerful $200 49mm piston 2 stroke bike that can easily hang with a $1,000-$1,500... mid drive or 3,000w rear wheel kit. Although it doesn't have the high hill climbing torque of a 3,000w rear wheel kit. It outperforms it other areas & for 5 or 6 times cheaper , I can live without the torque. I'm guessing the e-motor won't last long climbing steep hills everyday anyways.I'm also sick of e-bike kits lying about their specs. I do like e-bikes & if I had extra money to waste, I'd probably buy a kit. I've noticed a high ratio of irritating douche bags in the cycling & e-biking communities. Many seem to be arrogant, dorky "know-it-alls" who can never be wrong about anything & don't have many friends because of their abrasive personalities. The online bicycle forums are full of D-bags with miss information. Like a guy keeps insisting that thicker spokes won't make a wheel any stronger. If that was the case, motorcycles would use smaller lighter spokes.... Like it's true a properly built double butted quality spoke wheel that's a bit lighter can be strong as a spoke wheel that's 0.3mm gauge bigger. But a 10g spoke wheel is going to be much stronger than a 14g spoke wheel. Yet they'll keep insisting it's not true. If their $1,500 name brand 6061 aluminum frame breaks in testing before a $100 Schwinn 6061 aluminum frame does. They'll still convince themselves that their $1,500 frame is somehow way better because they don't wanna admit they threw $1,400 away on a fancy name & logo.

Hi wondering if you can help me I have the same kit on mine as soon as it goes over about 30mph the motor starts vibrating every time I built one a few years ago and don’t think that one did it it doesn’t do it if you lift the back wheel up and test at full throttle just when your riding it. Do you know if yours does the same? Thanks

Do you even have a torque arm on that thing?

Update: I received this email today where Voilamart is admitting there is a problem and yet they are refusing to admit something needs done or honor their warranty. The first two videos they are referring to are they same ones the viewed because I had to send them in a different format the next day. They are still ignoring my offer to ship it back to them and diagnose and repair themselves. Here is the email. Dear customer , Thank you for your message.
