No doubt about it man it's about time that they came out with a documentary on voivod. These guys have stood the test of time after several lineup changes they are still hitting their stride granted. They deserve so much respect for what they've been able to do for metal and how they've shaped it for the future these guys are a huge part of the family tree of metal and they deserve way more respect than they get with such great albums as , killing Technology, Dimension Hatross ,nothing face, angel rat, outer limits, Negatron, Voivod( selftitle) Katorz, infini, Target Earth & The wake. And I know there's other albums but these are the ones that are close to my heart especially killing technology Dimension hatross nothing face and Angel rat and the albums with Jason newstead voivod katorz & infini. Such a great catalog and their music is been a big part of my career as a musician especially Away drumming ,since I am a drummer. They deserve to have their name in the spotlight cuz they are a testament to metal and their own genre and how they've been able to reinvent themselves and keep the voivod flag flying. The whole band is meant so much to me especially piggy the late guitarist Blacky snake and away. And I was fortunate enough to see them during nothing face which still is the cream of the crop Blow Your Mind album way ahead of its time so God bless you guys and thank you for everything you've done and I can't wait to see the documentary
Cool interview. I bought the very first Voivod album when it was released and for me it's one the heaviest, craziest, and nothing like I've never heard before, type of debut albums. For me, Killing Technoglogy and Phobos with Eric Forest on vocals are my favorites. So heavy. Thanks The Metal Voice.
