RUBEN VELA'S 3rd album. Released in 1963 by FALCON RECORDS of Mission, TX. It includes the original version of the timeless classic tune "VENCIDO." A Jose Alfredo Jimenez composition that became a big hit for Ruben Vela Y Su Conjunto. This LP is half "Canciones" and half "Polkas." Some of the polkas were recorded prior to 1963 but were added to this record. Prepare to take a little trip back to the early 1960's with this very early recording by "EL CHAPARRITO DE ORO" Ruben Vela y todo su conjuntazo!
