As a kid in NYC, we grew up with Dean always crooning something on the radio. We kind of took him for granted. Now, after all these years, I cannot believe how superb, excellent and enchanting his voice was. Wish I would have paid more attention to it back then. Oh well, we still have his many albums to listen to!
LOVE how smooth Dean's voice is!!!! Like dark chocolate melting over ice cream! NO ONE sings or CROONS like Dean!! Definately a GREAT man to listen to ANYTIME!!!
+Claudia “ClaudiaB” Battistelli Yes! Italy is the most unique, most cultural, and actually changed the entire world more than any other country! facto!!!
my mom came over ,and she is italian old school big time .she listened and with tears her only comment .....smooth as silk I miss this way of life when men were men...Mikey I really do. and I had no legitimate answer..except your right mama
When I heard this song, make me happy and remember the working time in the Costa ship that i saw my colleagues ' restaurant, they are dancing for all guests and pretending a singer and sing this song in restaurant.❤
Volare, oh oh Cantare, oh oh oh oh Let's fly way up to the clouds Away from the maddening crowds We can sing in the glow of a star that I know of Where lovers enjoy peace of mind Let us leave the confusion and all disillusion behind Just like bird of a feather, a rainbow together we'll find Volare, oh oh E contare, oh oh oh oh No wonder my happy heart sings Your love has given me wings Penso che un sogno cosi non ritorni mai piu Mi dipingevo le mani e la faccia di blu Poi d'improvviso venivo dal vento rapito E incominciavo a volare nel cielo infinito Volare, oh oh E contare, oh oh oh oh Nel blu, dipinto di blu Felice di stare lassu E volavo, volavo felice piu in alto del sole ed ancora piu su Mentre il mondo pian piano spariva lontano laggiu Una musica dolce suonava soltanto per me Volare, oh oh E cantare, oh oh oh oh No wonder my happy heart sings Your love has given me wings Nel blu, dipinto di blu Felice di stare lassu
what is with all you people fighting over youtube comments thinking your so tough because you can talk smack behind your little computer screen its unbeliveable. i came here to listen to deanos great music not for people to fight. i love you dean you will always have the best music.
man, i love rap i wont lie, i grew up with it and 2 pac, rakim ect are awesome, but the 50's and 60's, and even the roaring twenties, damn those were the times for music, life and fun (im not taking into account historical tragedies)
I love how the video game industry have introduced all this great music to my generation! I love even more that my generation are seeking it out for themselves.
i m 14,i m from Zadar, small Croatian town in Adriacit coast, and my family was from Italia, and there is many 14-year old's who listen to Dean,Sinatra, and other LEGENDS,no some gay beiber, and rihanna.
Actually he didn’t, he knew a little bit of Italian, he didn’t write his own music, I believe that his parents or one of his parents were Italian. Dino was born in Ohio
Somehow, I feel- All those photos in the video represent Dean Martin. Clam, natural, warmth, free, fun, and beautiful. What a voice. Loved the man and his music.
dean martin if u reed this in heaven u still have fans that like ur songs down here in earth and u got to admit fallout new vegas is a great game because ur music is in the hearts of yuong kids and teenagers
im 17 and i love dean martin this style of music is very much nicer than the usual, sex drugs and rock and rol. its very much contemporary and i love it. even though i dont speak italian i appreciate every word being said
It is a very nice surprise to read such a comment from 15 years old. Sometimes people believe that not even my generation (27) does still know to appreciate such music. I am glad that they are not wrong only about us, but also about the children and adolescent from nowadays. Saturation with the "modern music" is closer than I thought. :)
mi ricordo io da bimbo sul altalena e i miei nonni, che mi spingevano, cantando questa canzone. mi manchano tanto i miei nonni! i sill remember me as a little child on a swing with my grandparents in italy. they pushed me while sinning this song. i miss them so much!
I was only born on Monday, but I already have a deep, inate appreciation of Italian-American music of the 1950s and 1960s. It is clear to me that the lyrical stylings of these are vastly superior to that my generation listen to. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? What's that all about? It''s clear that I'm clearly a more intelligent, cultured and overall superior human being. I now expect praise from everyone who is doubtless going to be so charmed that I am so precocious and before my own time.
Reminds me of some beautiful memories of my mom making dinner to this song. And also of a very pretty Maltese girl I once dated. Something about that culture brings warmth t the Soul.
I'm not Italian, but I do go to the North End in Boston alot and i truly do appriciate the Italian culture. :) And I do hear alot of Dean Martin and Sinatra there
Same i'm 17 though and mexican but my family is open to all culture's and my parents taught me spanish and a little bit of italian and picked up english and french in school and at home. and man i enjoy music like this! anyone know any other artits like Dean Martin?
love would never whispered in ears, dew drops would have never been noticed and roses would never been red without dean martin, natking cole and julio iglesias.
Who can song this song better than Dean. So smooth. And his italian is awesome. Love it. I'm Italian and proud of it!. He is the best crooner of all times!. Love him. RIP DEAN LOVE YA. Wish u were still here. .🥰😢💔🙏👏
I can still see Dean, drink in hand, singing the crap out of this song. One thing about singers of his time. When they sang a song, they owned it. No Auto Tune garbage like they use today.
Who says the classics are dead? I'm 17 and Dean, Nat King Cole, Sinatra are some of my favorite singers. And this song always reminds me of the beautiful lyrics that they had compared to the garbage they have on the radio now.
