i guess im asking randomly but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Philip Brycen i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
You can enter 16 notes into the internal sequencer of the Volca Bass. You just press record and enter the notes you want. In this video I used an external sequencer so I could have more notes playing. For that I used a USB to Midi cable hooked up to my computer and DAW.
@@warbad666 Yes but you need to unlock the higher BPM on the Volca so you can get these fast arps. See how to do it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L2RtVZ-0548.html
This is super amazing! Could you make a tutorial explaining a little bit how do you do this? I am especially wondering how you create these ever changing arps. Is it all generated in volca or in FL?
Do you want a synth or a sample player? It's difficult to play melodies on the Volca Sample but there are so much you can do with it compared to the Volca Bass. You can create full songs with the Volca Sample, you can play 8 different samples at the same time. Korg Volca's are a bit addictive so you'll probably end up buying another one in the future either way.
Felipe Vidal or you could save your money and get a korg electrive 2. i sold my volca bass and got an electribe. hours of fun buddy! but i would not suggest the bass. it gets boring pretty fast. but thats just my oppignion tho.
I'm sequencing from a DAW so that's just the way I programmed the arp in the piano roll. You can do a similar thing by unlocking the BPM on the Volca so that it goes from 10-600 and manually turn the knob.
Good question. Yeah probably, at least the sounds I made in this video. The Volca Bass has three VCO's so when it comes to detuned sounds I think it can do things that the monologue can't but I'm not sure.
I use external effects. The Volca Bass is connected to my computer so I can add Valhalla Shimmer which is a reverb that sounds amazing valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-shimmer/
Wait, is some else controlling what notes are being played via another device? Because you barely touch the keyboard but the notes change also the tempo, but you don't touch the tempo knob.
In FL Studio there is an arpeggio mode that you activate inside the piano roll. It transforms all notes into an arp pattern that you can manipulate using the control panel that pops up. I don't know if there is something similar inside Ableton. Here are two ways to use arps in FL Studio for reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m_itX317AuU.html
RemixSample welcome please help can i run live throug fx my volca bass how can it be? I am using fl studio trying to use rverb but there is no efect :(
Hmm I'm not sure actually. In this video the notes are being sent via midi from my computer so I'm not using the internal sequencer. If you unlock the BPM of the Volca Bass you can go from 10 bpm to 600 bpm. Details here: www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/bgyptg/volca_bass_bpm/
Can you please detail how you're feeding the midi signal to the bass? At first i though you have patterns recorded on it, and switch in between, but i do t see you changing banks. Thank you
Sure. Midi to USB cable from PC to Volca Bass. Midi out channel from FL Studio playing the notes into the Volca Bass. So no internal sequencing in this video because this sort of pattern with alternating tempo changes is not possible on the Volca Bass. It's just easier to work with midi out imho. If I was to do this internally I would have to change patterns and bpm manually, I would have no hands left to filter and stuff. :D I was changing the wave shapes and turning on/off the LFO. Maybe that looked like bank changes.
I'm using the midi input and sending notes from my DAW (FL Studio) into the Volca Bass. You can do similar things on the synth itself if you unlock the BPM so it goes from 10-600 BPM. "Hold FUNC while turning on your Volca and you'll be in the GLOBAL Parameter menu. Press step #5 and you'll have "Full Tempo" of BPM from 10 to 600 - make sure step #5 is lit and press REC to set and exit the Global Parameter menu."
@@RemixSample I'm not sure I understand your answer. I have a Volca Keys and I know that sequences can be programmed into it. Why is this so different from the Volca Bass?
@@mickypoo4622 Well forgive me if I don't recall exactly how they all work since I haven't used the Volcas in a while. But the Volca Bass is programmed by entering one note at the time by pressing the key you want to register. On some of the other Volcas you have to play and record the sequence live. That's the main difference.
@@mickypoo4622 When I prefaced my answer with forgive me. I wasn't being sarcastic or snarky. I genuinely don't remember how these things work. Cheers.
You should always state state what effects you are running your gear through. Some poor uninformed soul is going to think that reverb is actually coming out of the Volca Bass. Also... The Volca Bass is highly underrated.
I almost always write what I use to create my videos in the video description like I did in this one. Yes it's a great synth but like bread it needs butter. I honestly feel like the synth companies are less informative than me in their demos. XD They use all kinda of unrelated audio like drums loops lol
