The film shows the locals walking through the village in traditional dress and posing for the camera. Halfway through the film, several people dressed in modern clothing also pose amidst the Volendammers. The images suggest that this is an amateur film shot during a visit to Volendam.
At the end of the film, three Volendammers in traditional dress sail away along a canal on a small boat.
De film toont de plaatselijke bevolking die in de traditionele klederdracht door het dorp wandelt en voor de camera poseert. Halverwege de film zijn ook enkele in moderne kleding gestoken personen te zien die poseren temidden van de Volendammers. De beelden doen vermoeden dat het bij deze film gaat om een amateuropname van een bezoek aan Volendam.
Aan het einde van de film varen drie in klederdracht gestoken Volendammers op een klein bootje weg over een kanaal.
