@@Dpend84 Volkanovski out-landed Max, secured more takedowns and was more accurate with the strikes. It was a close fight, but Volk edged it out in every stat.
Max got robbed at least once, if not for that he probably wouldnt even be champ. Look what max did to Ortega, he literaly learned him to box mid fight and destroyed him, Volk was having a hard time with Ortega. He aint the real champ, Max still is.
@@swansmeister rematch was extremely close and there's arguments for why either should have won. if Max had been given the nod people would be saying Volk was robbed. you can disagree with the decision, but calling it a robbery?
Robbery is way way too strong of a descriptor. The rematch was an extremely close fight where the decision basically hinged on 1 round (3rd). It could have gone to either fighter and it wouldnt be a surprise because it was a close fight. The champ usually keeps the belt in that scenario, I really dont understand why people act like Max won a one-sided bloodbath, he dropped Volk early but that doesn’t affect scoring in other rounds

Very classy Volk. Made a joke at no ones expense while easing insecurity and it was funny. Didn’t like him because of the 2 fights against Max but the more I see press/interviews and stories of people that know him, the more I respect him. He fight Max again I would be rooting both sides to be great.

When you act as a villain character, you become him in time and believe that's the real you. Colby is going to deep. Some people pretend to be nice, but in reality if you are born evil, you true self will always reveal your true identity, JJ is a good example.
I honestly love that volk stands up for those who won't or can't stand up for themselves. I thought max won the 2nd fight but volk is definitely growing on me

I see here volk being hisself and Colby putting on his character. The subtle laugh and smile from Colby showed a lot. He respects volk for being real and you can tell. You know that's not who Colby is.

Colby had that thirs and 4th round against usman in their last fight. That last round was crazy but usman is a beast! I just think colby would benefit being a better striker. He has phenomenal grappling, he took down usman, he got out of usman grip, he kept usman against the cage, hes proved hes great at wrestling he now just has to do what usman and everyone else is doing, get good with the striking. I hate that in mma all these guys look sloppy with the punches. Just flinging their arms arms around really...
