Proud owner of vw ameo. I agree with low leg room for rear passengers. Except that no issues since 4 years and 60k kms. When u have a German brand with gud ride quality and build quality with assured safety who cares about mileage and service cost. I'm in love with it

When I was searching for my 1st car in 2014 me and my dad was impressed by Polo's looks and built quality . But rear seat legroom was point of concern and ingress and egress was a problem due to lower height. Then in 2015 Vw dealership closed down in my town and elite i20 launched and we booked i20 active as it fullfillled all our needs. Now as safety concerns growing in Indian market I have upgraded to ford EcoSport thunder tdci this year. But whenever I see polo it still fascinates me.
1. Costly maintenance 2. Cabin noise 3. Less practically 4. Slightly higher cost(not value for money) 5. Less mileage 6. Small boot capicity 7. Less features 8. Outdated cars This all factor which..indian buyer consider while buying this car... ..Pros : Superior build quality Top safety Best performance ........................... In tata ..this all balance.... (i.e. nexon ..Add ground clearance..)

@@ernestdsilva3335 lower middle aur middle ke leye wahi bahut badi baat hai. Labour cost x2 hai. Parts cost x3-x4 hai 😅 I have Punto and had polo. Punto se bhi double costly parts hai vw ki. So basically hyundai ye sab se 4 times more dena padhta hai 😅

Polo GT TDI 1. High power ( low average) 2. More expensive service then others 3. No change in design from last many of years 4. Lack of feature's like push start and android auto But i we must say that The car is deisal rocket in sense of driving extremely impressive..

Powerful In 1 word,I have 1L. Petrol Ameo,but it is really good. Nice Handling Good Milage Comfort Balance at high speed like 160-170 kmph. Amazing product
I drove Rapid 1.5L TDI manual for seven years and wanted to upgrade to automatic... but I cud not go to any other petrol craps available in the market now... Luckly I got Ameo Highline Plus TDI DSG with only 39k km run.... oh man... I am super happy now.. it gives more satisfaction than Rapid.. like a rocket ... 1200rpm , it takes 7th gear even in 70km/h and then u can imagine the milege.. i guess min 25km/l im getting...
people think that VW is far expensive and the mind set of people does not change very fast and people in india mostly take cars for their family and there is space problem in ameo or polo
This car is super 1.5 TDI.. Reasons - 1. People have misconception about servicing prices if compared with other companies like maruti 2. Rear seat comfort is the biggest flaw
Most of the customers who go for a compact sedan want :- 1. Spacious rear seats (such customers are looking for a family car) 2. Spacious boot 3. Low service cost and widespread service network VW Ameo fails in all these areas. Customers who want performance over space would go for a hatchback like Polo or Freestyle. Also, there was very low marketing for this vehicle. Many people didn't even know this car existed in the market.
Biggest reason are 1)mantance cost 2) low fuel economy 3) over the period engine & gear box problem 4) low service centre 5) low reseal 6)no DRL no projectors

BS6 is the reason that why 1.6tdi is no more.. par jab wo safedi wo jhaag 1.0tsi se mile to koi tdi ku le.. higher fuel and maintenance cost also with tdi.. so simply go for 1.0 TSI.. I am driving 1.2 TSI and I can never purchase anyother car..its so so good bhai..

Ride quality is better than this I have driven both But if someone is okay with base model then nexon base variat under 7 lakh(ex showroom) is much better than other alternatives 🔥 Soon altroz with turbocharged engine will give you the pickup too
I have been using Skoda rapid 1.6 TDI from 2014 driven 1.2L km engine me kuch nai hua abtak. Still fit and fine as new. Just get it service on regular intervals.
Sir me Polo Diesel 2012 1.2 model chala raha hu.. 1.50 lakh km chala chuka hu. gadi ne ab kafi karacha magna chalu kar diya he. Mileage accha deti he mujhe rajsthan ke tour pe 25 ka mileage mila he. Lekin sir abhi tak jo maja is gadi ko chalane me aaya he woh kisi aur gadi me nahi aaya

Reason why people are not buying: 1. Ground Clearance (165 is bit less), 2. Service cost 3. Mileage in city 4. Parts cost. most importantly VW has created a brand value of Premium class, so thinking it expensive in all aspect people don't go for it in especially in India.

These Volkswagens are well known for high maintenance what the hell buyers will do with such built quality like old ambassador car😂😂😂. All the Volkswagens in India are such a flop. My neighbour recently sold his 5 year old polo with gear box issues n got an ognis. N all these years I thought his polo was diesel makes lot of noise😂😂😂
VW एक ऐसा ब्रांड है जिसको भारत में जानकर या और भी ग्राहक तारीफ बहुत करते है मगर लेने से डरते है क्योंकि बहुत सारे कारण है। 1 इसका सेल्स और सर्विस नेटवर्क इतना कम है कि कोई लेने से डरता है कि कही खराब हुआ तो कैसे बनेगा क्योंकि आम मैकेनिक तो इनको हाथ भी नही लगाते। इसके पार्ट्स भी बाहर में आसानी से नही मिलते । वहाँ काम कराने से पूरा टैक्स और लेबर चार्ज दुनियाभर कर लेते है। 10 साल में इनका नेटवर्क लगभग वैसा ही है,लगभग 100 से थोड़ा ज्यादा। 2. पिछली सीट पर जगह कम है जो फैमिली के साथ सफर करने के लिए थोड़ा मुश्किल पैदा करता है। हो सकता है कि इसका बोनेट इतना लंबा है, इसलिए सीट के लिए जगह थिंदी कम पड़ जाती है जो सेफ्टी के लिए अच्छा है, मगर थोड़ा लंबे लोगों के फैमिली के लिए ये फिट नही बैठती है जिनको लगातार सबके साथ सफर करना पड़ता है। 3. इसका सिंपल लुक इसका USP भी है और बहुतों के लिए रिजेक्शन का बड़ा वजह भी। सालों से वही लुक है। इसका फायदा है कि वर्षो बाद भी आपकी गाड़ी बाजार में पुरानी नही दिखती है मगर दूसरे कार के मुकाबले कम आकर्षक बना देती है। 4. VW के प्लान में भारत का सेल्स का आँकड़ा शायद ज्यादा मायने नही रखता है वरना 10 साल से ज्यादा समय होने के बाद भी न ज्यादा सेल्स सर्विस सेन्टर बढ़े है, न प्रोडक्ट का रेंज है न ही प्रोडक्ट को अधिकतम रूप में लोकललाईंज कर पाए है जिस से स्पेयर पार्ट्स अब भी तुलनात्मक रूप से महँगे ही है, न ही बाहर मिल पाते है, न ही प्रचार प्रसार पर समुचित रूप से ध्यान है। 5. फीचर का कमी भी प्रमुख कारण है। काम के फीचर इसमें मिल जाते है जैसे टिल्ट और टेलिस्कोपिक स्टीयरिंग, कॉर्नेरिंग लैंप, क्रूज कंट्रोल, चारो विंडो एन्टी पिंच फीचर के साथ, रियर वाइपर वॉशर विथ defogger( कुछ गाड़ी में ये केवल टॉप मॉडल मिलत है या 2nd top में), टॉप क्वालिटी का ऑडियो सिस्टम मगर रियर कैमरा,DRL जैसा छोटा सा फीचर नही देते। 6. गाड़ी कम बिकती है तो रीसेल वैल्यू भी नही है क्योंकि भारत मे लोग खरीदने से पहले बेचते समय कितना मिलेगा पहले ही सोच लेते है,भले 15 साल गाड़ी रख के 50 हज़ार भी गाड़ी न चलाए😉 लब्बो लुवाब है कि VW की गाड़ियाँ वही और सिर्फ वही लेते है जिनको गाड़ियाँ चलाने का पैशन होता है केवल रखने का शौक नही होता और इसके लिए इसके ऊपर के गिनाए सारे डिमेरिट को नजरअंदाज कर देते है क्योंकि VW की गाड़ियाँ Driver's car होती है। जिसने इसको चला लिया उसको फिर कोई गाड़ी पसंद नही आएगी, कम से कम इस दाम में तो राइड और हैंडलिंग बिल्कुल नही मिलेगी। और जो गाड़ी मजे ले के चलाएगा वो माइलेज का 19 20 तो देखेगा नही। और सेफ्टी के मामले भी ये बेजोड़ है। चाहे बम्पर ही या दरवाजे का शीट, कोई मैच नही मिलेगा इस प्राइस में। इतना पुराना प्लेटफार्म पर बनी गाड़ी सिर्फ 2 एयर बैग पर 4 स्टार सेफ्टी देती है। और वाकई ये है, छोटे मोटे एक्सीडेंट में तो इसको कुछ होता ही नही है और बड़े एक्सीडेंट में भी ये आपको बचा लेगी, इसका चलाने के बाद आपके लग जाएगा।

Spark cng model hai to ache se check kar lo and kisi trusted mechanic ne karao agar condition sachme achi hai to 90-1L thik price hai engine suspension and tyres important hai outer body pe zyada focus mt karna (i mean normal scratches only) and accident hua hai ki nh vo dekh lena

Bhai agar turbo kick chahiye toh go for S cross 1.6 My goodness what a car and what a kick it gives. Amazing performance and amazing FIAT MJD engine. 320 nm torque 120 bhp and if you remap then its rocket on road.
1. They dont know that vw cars ka KM peeche nahi hota. 2. 80k KM ke baad kharche hote hain, have this car since 2012. No such issue, on 140k. 3. mileage is decent and around 15 diesel.
Sir there is a problem with Ameo was 1. 1st look like polo made with boot 2. No space in the back seat 3. Mileage 4. Sales and service is the biggest concern of VW group and very expensive parts 5. Perception of the people and also less sales and service unit in the country nobody will travel 100 km to service their cars
