Volkswagen ID.4 - 12V Battery Install (Ohmmu) 

Vw dealer says this battery cannot be coded to the id.4. Battery performed fine, but the car threw up error codes and the dealership said vw would not cover under warranty. Had to put the oem battery back in and pay for the service. OHMMU should not sell this battery for id.4 if it can't be coded.

you do need to use scan tool and adapt the battery if its a different amp /hr,cca rating

When ya tucked the negative cable back, is there plastic or rubber back there by the firewall?

I'm not sure, that this battery is suitable for low temperatures!
