The 2024 Volkswagen Touareg is a premium SUV that has been updated with new features and design elements. Here are some of the highlights of the new model:
The 2024 Touareg has a refreshed look with light bars at the front and rear, giving it a more aggressive and modern appearance.
The headlights and taillights have been redesigned with a triple “L” theme and use advanced matrix LED technology with micro-LEDs for superior illumination.
The interior has a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen that form the Innovision Cockpit, which comes as standard.
The infotainment system has been upgraded with high-resolution HD map data, lane-level navigation, better voice control, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The ambient lighting has been updated with “Touareg” lettering on the passenger side of the dashboard and more powerful USB-C ports.
The 2024 Touareg offers five different powertrain options, all with 4Motion all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The powertrain options include a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine with 335 hp, a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with either 228 hp or 282 hp, and two plug-in hybrid variants with a 3.0-liter V6 gas engine and an electric motor.
The plug-in hybrid variants are the eHybrid with 375 hp and the range-topping Touareg R with 456 hp.
The 2024 Touareg is expected to launch in Europe in the first quarter of 2024, with the Touareg R following on June 22.
The 2024 Touareg will also be available in other markets such as Australia and South Africa in the first half of 2024.
