I spend hours watching youtube videos on car detailing as its something that I'm passionate about and tonight I stumbled across your channel and I've gotta say girl you have absolutely aced it, you go into so much detail and depth about the products you're using and ultimately the results on the car that you're working on, keep up the great work girl as personally I believe you're going places with this.
Nice to see the little Up again. I bought 5 of these cars in a year and settled to one. Currently fitting custom bits in it before I can insure and finally drive it
Thanks Steven! I was lucky and managed to film this just before the weather went really cold last month. I've really struggled to get filming done/ clean my own car too, I'm hoping it gets a bit drier soon
Hello Heather, great work as always. You mentioned you can’t dilute forst and have to use it neat. Stjarnagloss listened to the community feedback and actually made a ‘ForstX’ variant which comes in a concentrated form factor, so it can be diluted to suit various applications!
@@AutoCareHQ do it it's cracking so when I first got it from jack at stjarnagloss I had limited information as it was pre release , but since his given me more info and dilution ratios and honestly the stuff is amazing and has so many applications, altho you don't need Forst X to do this , you could dilute Forst and work out the dilutions, but it's a very good product and in my top three Pre-wash spray ,
Good job well done. Happy New Year to you. I am looking forward to a few wee nuggets of tips in the year to come from your content. We sometimes forget about products if we find a new one but GT QD is one that I need to use again this year. Might do my mothers car in CS as I only get a chance to see it to work on it about 3 times a year but I do visit more often honest.
Thanks John and Happy New Year :) I was very impressed by the GT QD, I don't use quick detailers that often but that product made me want to try and use them more which is a good sign
Tip top job on the first of 2023 👍 GT snow foam is a one i’ve got to try as I’m tempted by their ceramic coating. That tyre dressing looked ace too although Tyre Serum is hard to topple. Keep the cleaning coming all year 👌
Thanks for watching :) GT Tyre Serum is very tough to beat, I've also got their ceramic coating to test out so I'm thinking of putting it on my car when Synergy Lite starts to die off
After a bad day (parents car not starting & taking ages to valet their filthy one whilst having a bad headache), I feel really relaxed watching you doing this.
Thanks for heart symbol. Happy New Yr. Your videos are very detailed. Love the snow foam, its excellent. Do u use autoglym high definition shampoo at all. I love it, really good quality product
Promised I'd let you kow how I got on: Finally gave the DeepMile citrus cleaner a go (amazing stuff that was, shifted so much as both my cars have been neglected in recent months). Also cracked open the foam sprayer as a first go having viewed them on your vids. Really happy with both. Garage Therapy tyre stuff had to wait as it got dark and yep, started raining again just as I was finishing as it did so for the next few days then Xmas etc. Enjoyed using all of them so far and I can see the hand foamer sprayer being used a lot more than I thought I might and more so in many more ways than I'd initially thought as well. I love these little Up's and it looks fab. That quick detailer really does the business doesn't it! Next is the blower and was wondering whether the top banana one but think I'll stick with the one you have. Pending link use incoming.
I'm really glad you're enjoying the new products! That's so typical haha, I was outside today cleaning someone's car and it chucked it down as soon as I'd dried it 😂 Good shout hanging on until it's dry though as the GT Tyre Serum doesn't apply very nicely if the tyres are slightly wet
@@AutoCareHQ Thanks for the damp serum tip. Also a good job I can rectify next time as i've got a new GT blower arriving Thursday then, so using your link, also as promised, that's my tip to you!
@@AutoCareHQ told you that those are your branded t shirt that we expect to see you wearing on your videos now . One week you will change it and only I will notice
Great video, Heather.👍 It is difficult detailing outside in Britain at this time of year, as I know only too well, living in the Peak District. All the best for the New Year. John.👍
Happy New Year Heather. I finally got chance to use the Garage Therapy Wheel Shampoo over the holiday period. Your review was spot on,it’s great stuff 👍 One question, how do you get your Snow Foam you last so long,I’m using Blit Hamer Auto Foam and it never last more than a couple of minutes?
Happy New Year Richard! I'm really glad you like the GT Wheel Shampoo, I wouldn't be without that stuff. To be honest BH Auto Foam doesn't dwell that long for me either. Applying it to a dry car can help but it's dead thin so it does slip off the car quite quickly
Great video, that VW always comes ‘UP’ nicely 🙄😂 I’ve tried shampoo through the lance a couple of times but I’m not 100% onboard with it yet, I can certainly see the benefit tho I think I just need to find the right shampoo! Got a wash pad over Christmas and they are a game changer if your used to using a mitt!!
Cheers Kevin! I stuck with the shampoo in the lance throughout summer to be fair. I sometimes needed to work a few panels at a time before rinsing so it took a bit longer but it just feels a lot safer on the paintwork so I didn't really mind the extra time!
Happy New Year Heather 🎉 I know you’ve used both so do you find p&s brake buster similar to HDD Brake away? I have both and instructions etc are similar but yet to try the p&s.
Happy New Year Nick, hope you had a good Christmas! I'd say they're probably quite similar in terms of cleaning power but Brake Buster is more foamy compared to HDD which definitely has a more gel like consistency. I'm a big fan of both but the HDD one is a bit better value for money
hi there, another great video, with attention to detail, second to none, the way you go about your routine is such an eye opener, I cringe at the way cars used to be looked after years ago, keep up the great work!!! ps. what had you coated the car, protection wise previously!!!
Thanks for the Monday drop Heather. I’ve been thinking about buying some Atom Mac to spray on my rotors. Do you think this is a better alternative to spraying some Brake Buster neat on them?
Thanks for watching :) Yep Atom Mac will work out much more cost-effective long-term as you only need to use a 5% solution, I've also found it a lot more effective at preventing the rusting on the rotors compared to Brake Buster
I usually do mine once a week but I don't add protection every time, just when the water behaviour is dying off a bit. On the other cars I look after I usually don't like leaving it longer than a month otherwise the contamination builds up and sticks on the paintwork more so they'd need claying more often
