Musiklegende.
As a British man, I feel very fortunate that they had a huge influence on the post punk scene, giving rise to more experimental music in the late 70s and early 80s. True pioneers and very much loved and respected here in the UK.
I just watched this with closed captions enabled, and as dodgy as they were, I can't help but feel I could sit and talk to Herr Bartos for hours. From the pre-Bartos / Flür era through to Computerweld, these guys had a huge impact on my life. I'd like to convey that to him. If you read this, Karl, thank you for the music you brought to us. :)
i just tried to make some closed captions, but yt won't let me. :/ but i can translate you the parts the automatic cations didn't get right. :) but yeah, karl is a very humble person and mentions all the technicians as other people who helped him, what florian and ralf never did. that's why they were the opposite of florian and ralf (as you can read in wolfgang's biography).
I also wondered about that. Strange thing to have out during an interview, can't really eat and give a good interview. By the way I can understand a little about what they are saying, learning by listening.
i am one of the few times glad to have german as my mother tongue. for many of my musical heroes i had to improve my english ;-) By the way....i also do the oldschool Electrosound, and cut it to vinyl. Location: Frankfurt a.M. Germany.
Seien Sie stolz, ı worship German, but mine is terrible. But it is a gate to soooo many universes and gifts to mankind. My Mother tongue is 🇫🇷, es lebe 🇪🇺
Karl Bartos Najsympatyczniejszy Człowiek Artysta jakiego znam.Profesor. Jeżeli nie przeczytam Jego Autobiografii w języku Polskim będę Nieszczęśliwy 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪💓💓💓💓💓💓
We can't say Mr. Huetter killed Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk has functioned well for about a dozen years, that's more than many bands have nowadays. Of course, as a creative musician you can't really be satisfied combining audio snippets on a computer for the rest of your life. On the other hand, the Kraftwerk concept was literally exhausted in the 80s. So you had to move to new galaxies, or you had to be happy with reproducing until the people don't want to hear you anymore. Mr. Huetter seems was happy with the last option, Mr. Bartos not so.
That's why He is the last one of the "good old days" lineup. Maybe à way to say, "it's my thing". Look how hard for others, including BARTOS to be asked questions that do not concern Kraftwerk
... Ich bin dein Diener, ich bin dein Robotnik ...
Unfortunately, i still don't understand the german language. I know his solo career is so good, but i wish the Kraftwerk classic formation could go back, where are Floriam and Flür? They all are alive, i would love see they.
Florian was the co-founder of Kraftwerk and he was the last one to leave. He left in November of 2008. Kraftwerk has been the same without Florian, Wolfgang and Karl. Ralf was very controlling.
It is a music machine that lives from reproducing the stuff they invented many years ago. With that approach the "musicians" are freely exchangeable. Having said that, their concerts are audio-feasts for the ears.
